The most modern station in the northern region is the Saidpur Railway Station. This railway station is spread over an area of 110 acres. The railway factory was built during the British period by using some of the foundations of that factory to establish connections.

From the British period until 2007, all trains to Dhaka used to depart from Saidpur Railway Station, but now all trains operate up to Chilahati.Saidpur is a railway city. 80 percent of the land in this city is railway land, and there are numerous illegal structures on railway land. Many mobile residents have developed near the railway station.This station has been modernized in recent times. The station has a station master's room, assistant station master's room, and ticket counter.

This station has a modern ticket counter where passengers collect tickets from this counter. People from Saidpur to Rangpur, Dinajpur, Parbatipur and all the surrounding areas of Saidpur upazila collect crickets.

Two trains run from Chilahati to Dhaka via Syedpur, one is the Chilahati Express and the other is the Nilsagar Express. Chilahati Express leaves Chilahati for Dhaka in the morning and Nilsagar Express leaves for Dhaka at night.

Two trains depart from Chilahati to Khulna via Saidpur Road, these two trains are Rupsha Express and Simanto Express, and there is also a local train, Rocket Mail.And two trains depart from Chilahati for Rajshahi via Saidpur, the two trains are Barendra Express and Titumir Express.
