Be careful with lickers in your organization. Lickers are those who do not have certain abilities, skills or competencies. Do not have performance or work results. Hati-hati dengan penjilat di organisasi anda. Para penjilat adalah mereka yang tidak memiliki kemampuan, skil atau kompetensi tertentu. Tidak punya kinerja ataupun hasil kerja. Apa yang dia punya hanyalah mencari muka di depan atasannya. Tujuannya adalah mendapat perhatian dari atasannya. Mereka sangat terlihat rajin di depan atasan, apapun dikerjakan, kedang pekerjaan yang tidak pentingpun dan bukan tugas dan fungsi dia pun dia kerjakan. Padahal di belakang atasannya dia adalah pemalas yang tidak mengerjakan apapun.

Para penjilat sebenarnya tidak cerdas tetapi mereka pandai memanfaatkan kepinteran dan skill orang lain untuk kepentingan dirinya. Dia dengan nada yang lemah lembut membujuk rekan kerjanya untuk membantu pekerjaan dia dan yang nampak di mata atasannya adalah hasil pekerjaannya padahal hasil pekerjaan orang lain.

Para penjilat sangat senang membantu pekerjaan atasannya meskipun tidak disuruh. Mereka bersedia mengerjakan hal-hal yang detil dari atasannya. Senantiasa memperhatikan gerak-gerik dari atasan dengan maksud untuk mengetahui apa yang bisa dibantu untuk dikerjakan. Namun para penjilat justru tidak peduli dengan pekerjaannya sendiri.

Para penjilat terlihat sangat sibuk dalam setiap kegiatan tetapi tidak memiliki output pekerjaannya. Mereka hanya terlihat sibuk sebenarnya mereka tidak mengerjakan apapun. Kadang hanya mengatur ini dan itu seakan seperti layaknya seorang bos. Dalam setiap ada acara mereka terlihat seperti orang penting dalam acara tersebut. Semua orang-orang yang hadir pada acara tersebut dia sapa dan terlihat mengobrol dengan mereka.

Para penjilat senang menceritakan tentang kehebatan diri sendiri. Pencitraan ini sering dia lakukan dengan cara memposting tentang kesuksesan dirinya,.walaupun hanya sukses kecil. Satu pencapaian yang dia peroleh akan terus diceritakan kepada orang lain pada setiap ada kesempatan.

Mereka juga senang mencari-cari kesalahan rekan kerjanya dan kemudian mereka sampaikan kepada atasannya. Apabila atasan marah kepada rekan kerja dia sangat merasa puas. Dia bagaikan intelejen yang dengan sengaja mencari kesalahan dan dia gunakan informasi yang dia dapatkan untuk menjatuhkan lawannya.
