Reflections of the Soul. Acrylic.

I feel like something has changed. Suddenly, many ideas about art are coming to me. I'm learning slowly, like someone who wants to go far. It's not a quick struggle; it's the methodical process of someone hoping to transform ugliness into art.

I liked that you don't need fifty colors to achieve a painting. Sometimes art is just stillness and the gaze of a suffering face. Can we feel what's happening through a simple glance?

It looks as if you are developing a certain style between comics and pop art.
While observing, I thought 'what happened to the landscapes' but I believe I see one in her face.

I love how you use a limit of colours, it gives room to study, think, imagine and see the beauty of the fine lines.

I like the mouth, although it's not the mouth I like to see on people.

♥️🍀

You know I love landscape painting, I just keep trying things out. The time between power outages and such limits my time. The lighting is poor, so painting landscapes would be better during the day, for details, but my days are complicated. I've eliminated Sunday as an available day. We'll see when time allows me to paint landscapes.

I wonder if you can paint a landscape with those few lines in the face of the woman or a different portrait. I know it's poor light. I hope I can solve it once back and try to send you something (if it arrives) but it will be September, October perhaps. Let's see what arrives before I am jailed. LOL

You do great!

I'm mixed on ideas. Resources are finite at the moment. I'm exploring the idea of having a color line or palette. Something recognizable could be good, on the one hand. A collection. A gallery for the future. Should I paint everything? Or try to understand and improve in one area and then move on to the next. The other thing is, if I use specific colors in every painting, they run out faster, leaving the others to wait. The blues are at a low level. LOL. There was a bit of red left that hadn't been used. So let's use it, LOL. What do you think, should I jump into landscapes? I still like to paint; I'm sure I'll paint pelicans or strange abstract figures sometimes.
