Remember the Obyte GB's Steemit members got almost a year ago?

Most of the members that were active a year ago signed up for the Obyte free GB's we were getting according to our reputation. Half of the GB's we received were available immediately, and the other half was locked in smart wallets for a year. I was lucky to have a reputation above 60 at the time, so I received a nice amount of GB, and the other half is now still locked into the wallet. These funds will be unlocked pretty soon, so I was looking into @obyte just this morning, to find out they are having a lottery for free GB's.

I found the lottery through a tweet

You can see the tweet from @obyte by clicking here, I think I might have missed some drawings, as it seems they started this in December 2018 already. In the tweet there is a Medium article linked where you can find the information about the lottery, which has been published in December 2018. But it's not too late to join this party! The next draw is on June the 6th!

Your chances to win depend on the balance of the addresses you link. The larger the balance, the more points you get. The winner of the draw will be selected randomly on a specified date/time in a provably fair way (for the techies, see the algorithm we use to select the winner, it is based on randomness derived from the latest Bitcoin block).
