This is Alex (Yes, my go-by name IRL.) reporting from the Clown World in which we now live. 🤡

The world in which the livelihoods of people can be disrupted by edgy ambiguity regarding fruit. A world where the hurt feeling police control the interwebs and the narrative. I used to conceal my political views like I would conceal my lower member but those days are past. We have reached the fulcrum, folks. It's not merely a conservative / liberal issue but I am assured the former group its taking the hardest hit from what I can tell thus far.

I have a confession to make. I am conservative through and through but don't get it twisted. The mainstream media would have you think that people like me are racists, bigots, uncharitable folk and warmongers. They want to sell you a lie as if any that meander anywhere remotely near right of the spectrum fits into some sort of monolithic hive mind. It's not so.

In like fashion, I would not necessarily assume that I know where a liberal stands on every view because it varies. We are individuals. We have our own brains, our own experiences and perspectives that we bring to the table. I suppose the following Elephant analogy would be apt in this circumstance.

We all see things from a different angle and privy to different sets of information. This is why diversity of thought is SO IMPORTANT. Sure, I may debate people and maybe I won't change my mind (Because I'm right obviously 😏 jk jk) But I walk away from the discussion having learned something that is an understanding about a perspective that is not my own.

In that regard, I see what YouTube is doing is destroying the discourse that would increase the diversity of thought. They do this be deplatforming and demonetizing. How much do you think it costs Steven Crowder to run a "Change My Mind" event? Sure we has to pay for security, transportation and whatever permit the educational institution requires for these events to occur.

I highly doubt that it is cheap to do this. YouTube demonetizing their channel means they have less income to promote the dialogue that increases diversity of thought and the understanding of various perspectives which I find useful in promoting harmony in our society. If we don't understand one another, we likely to have misunderstanding which could escalate into conflict.

I think what YouTube is doing is counterproductive to our society so what is the answer?

There are at least a couple possibilities:

3Speak

image.png

What is 3speak

https://3speak.online/ is built to be a high-performance platform, boasting the ability to host HD videos & live streams, forever. The reason we can achieve elite performance is because 3Speak is specially designed for content creators who have been demonetized, shadow banned, or outright banned/censored from centralized platforms. We don't host illegal content, as long as the content is legal, it will be supported by 3Speak. The goal is to have a respectable, fair & censorship resistant platform that puts creators first, not the big ad companies.

This is coming from @theycallmedan's post

Sounds pretty damn interesting and I already signed up and hoping they give me a shot. If not, no hard feelings but I'm ready to start producing commentary content. I'm tired of pigeonholing myself into flag stuff but I will continue to work for the SFR community. Feel like I have a shit ton of creative energy and just looking for the right outlet

Oops wrong outlet!

One that rewards it without having to pay someone to it. (Bid bots. Because f*ck that noise. I have talent and dignity. Also, I'm not in the business of screwing over other hardworking content creators relying on manual curation. Most those sons of bitches on trending are though. That's another story...)

Snax

Be rewarded for social activity

  • Get crypto tokens as a reward for your posts

Per their whitepaper, there is an absence of censorship.

But wait, there's MORE!

With that, I 'm done. See yall next time!

Sort:

Hypocrisy on the "left" (mainstream champagne socialists who need to virtue signal after every breath) is shocking.
In Holland we use the German word "güt mensch" sarcastically refering to them as "good people": because what is the use of doing the "right" thing if you don't tell everyone else how bad they are?!

Pim Fortuyn, a Dutch "populist" was murdered nearly a decade ago. He was a flamboyant gay man who had a history in politics in the Dutch Workers Party ( equivalent to UK Labour or US Democrats). They threw a pie at his face and the MSM was all like "how drôle, suits the bastard" two months later he was dead, shot by a autistic vegan.

I know first hand how political violence can spiral out of control. People who throw milkshakes are fanning the flames of chaos.

I am all for humiliating racists and other troublemakers, but physical violence of any type risks escalating. Some of those who have been 'milkshaked' are quite happy to use violence.

My own politics are more to the left, but I can respect those of others. I am not into 'conspiracies', but there seem to be forces trying to divide societies and stir up hatred. They need to be exposed.

I am all for humiliating racists and other troublemakers,

Same. The problems arise when people either knowingly or unknowingly conflate racism with the desire to preserve national identity and cultural values.

I am predominantly Mexican ethnically but am an American first with a love for the values and tradition that have helped build the society that we and others enjoy.

I don't want to see America become Mexico (I'm from Texas so it's pretty close) nor do I want Mexico to become the USA. In like fashion, I am aware of what is going on across the pond in say London for instance. It is my understanding that English culture is in the process of being replaced.

I think ultimately there are powers that be that tend to pull the strings and believe the global elite have an interest in quelling national identity as part of the process of conforming people to accept the prospect of global governance.

I am wary that their ultimate aim is enacting mechanisms for population reduction but it won't be them that affected but primarily the middle class. For instance, with global control, they may bring down the hammer of environmental regulation the kind that is often known to cripple small business.

The corporations can deal with these things but think Mom and Pop's will have a hard time. In the grand scheme, this may just be one of many checkpoints on the roadmap. I hope not.

Anyways, I appreciate you honesty and glad that even if we may fall on differing sides of the spectrum that we are in a place that can have this conversation.

Enjoy your weekend, brotha!

The extent to which English/British culture is being changed is greatly exaggerated. Culture changes anyway. We have had waves of immigrants throughout our history. It is not a recent thing.

There would seem to be 'powers' pulling in different directions as there are 'nationalist' groups taking power in various places. There is a lot of manipulation of news and social media. The Fox corporation is one of the biggest and seems to favour people like Trump who takes every opportunity to dismiss other news sources. It's all about reducing trust in what may be useful sources of information.

I happen to believe that we do need urgent action on environmental issues. There may be some pain for the middle classes, but it should also target the rich who use more than their fair share of resources. Some may say we need to worry about Indian, China etc, but most of the middle class and above could make big reductions without really suffering. We have to find new business models that are sustainable as just carrying on like this is bound to end in disaster.
