Fourth of July Romantic Traditions drawn by me

So, I hope you all had magnificent birthdays, I wish you all a lot of love, joy, happiness, beauty, strength, and prosperity in your lives as artists, and I also hope you had a great 4th of July. Como se dice en español, espero que hayaís tenido cumpleaños maravillosos, os deseo mucho amor, alegría, felicidad, belleza, fuerza y prosperidad en vuestras vidas como artistas y personas y espero que hayaís tenido un 4 de julio grande. This is also dedicated to all of the GreenBell, ProfKeane, Blossoomer, Brickercup, Butchubbles, and Bunnitch shippers from all over the world. So, I hope you all enjoy this belated 4th of July treat.

We take ourselves back to Townsville, USA, July 4, 1998. 35-year-old Mr. Green and 33-year-old Mrs. Bellum-Green as well as 34-year-old Professor Utonium and 30-year-old Mrs. Keane-Utonium have been married and are also equally happy parents. Mr. Green and Mrs. Bellum-Green were the proud parents of Brick, Butch, and Boomer, who were going to be 8 years old on November 1, and even Mitch Mitchelson, who ended up being adopted by them, brought along his grandmother and was going to turn 8 years old on November 8. Professor Utonium and Mrs. Keane-Utonium were the happy parents of Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles, who were going to be 6 on September 1, and Bunny, who was 5 years old. Ergo, they were two very happy and harmonious families.

One tradition they would do every Fourth of July was going to the Townsville Country Club, where the adults would wine and dine and the children would do a lot of physical activities. Moreover, their parents even had their respective children betrothed to each other, which meant that Boomer, Brick, Butch, and Mitch were to be respectively married to Blossom, Buttercup, Bubbles, and Bunny. It was through these pairings that Mr. Green, Mrs. Bellum-Green, Professor Utonium, and Mrs. Keane-Utonium were very happy to know how well their children got along with each other not just as superheroes but as growing people and they were proud of not only their decision but also the blossoming relationships that have been occurring with these four sets of childhood sweethearts.

While Mr. Green, Mrs. Bellum-Green, Professor Utonium, and Mrs. Keane-Utonium were enjoying red wine being served in gold chalices, their children had their moments of young love.

7 going on 8-year-old Boomer, being the loving and good-humored gentleman he was, was kind enough to give 5 going on 6-year-old Blossom some of her most favorite flowers. She responded with a curtsey because of this nice gesture and they became quite the item since Boomer admired Blossom so much to the point where he was brave enough to tell her how much he liked her. Blossom even admitted that she not only liked Boomer but she loved how considerate, kind, and attentive he was.

7 going on 8-year-old Brick and 5 going on 6-year-old Buttercup detested the thought that they were going to get married when they grow up. They mainly saw each other as best friends and were disgusted at anything that was mushy and syrupy. Perhaps, that would change when they grow up and realize that there was something more between them.

7 going on 8-year-old Butch was the type of boy who constantly hid his emotions from everyone and preferred to show how tough, strong, and mean he was. Unfortunately for him, 5 going on 6-year-old Bubbles seemed to the one person who always loved to be very playful and cute towards him by giving him those sweet smiles. Poor Butch blushed every time smiled at him with that super rosy complexion of hers and he did not want to admit that he liked Bubbles too, considering how she wore her affection for him on her sleeves.

7 going on 8-year-old Mitch became rather smitten with Bunny because of how gentle she was. Meanwhile, 5-year-old Bunny was quite shy every time she was with Mitch, but she still admired him for his occasional kindness towards her and how much he would go out of his way to protect her from those bullies who harass her.

Overall, every Fourth of July country club meeting meant not only celebrating this particularly important holiday for the United States of America but also the growing closeness all of these four young couples were going to have with each other. This even got to the point where Boomer and Blossom, Brick and Buttercup, Butch and Bubbles, and Mitch and Bunny uphold the tradition to this day with their children.
