I'm Still Here!
I think I spoke a little prematurely when I said I wouldn't keep playing without the daily rewards. Well, actually that is true but I haven't stopped playing completely. The rewards have been reduced and I have reduced my playing time as a consequence.
The measures that were taken to stop the bots have not done so. They are still there and are as frustrating as ever. If I get 5 games in a row, played by a bot with higher level summoners than I have, I just stop playing. Especially if my DQ is with the life splinter which is the one the bots favour.
There seem to be a number of people selling whole accounts of cards, especially the alphas.
I've been levelling up a few on mine but mostly, I'm waiting to see what comes next.
I've not played any more tournaments after my experience of being matched against players in the Champions League. It seems to be the same people winning over and over.
For now I will keep plodding on. I am enjoying the new reward cards when I win them. So let's see what happens next.
The Exploding Dwarf card only came out a couple of days ago so I was very pleased to win a gold one in a Daily Quest, especially as I got an epic and a rare in the same haul.

I been trying to push for more spots paid in tournaments. Once they are auto on the site I think a percentage payout based on entries is the best way to go.

Thank you. I'll take a look. But as long as I'm playing against people in the Champions Leagues in round 1, tournaments won't hold much interest for me. As far as I can see the bottom line for Steem Monsters is all about the "money" and winning "money" is not of much interest to me. I enjoy collecting the cards and the community aspect.
It doesn't matter what league someone is in if a tournament is sent in a specific level because the system nukes everyone's cards to the same level in Novice/Bronze/Silver ect.
