Satoshi's Treasure. Solving the Aesop Key (Key 9 of 1000) 400 keys unlock $1 million dollars in BTC

The Clue

Last Sunday a new clue was published on the Satoshi's Treasure site. The clue was called The Ambiguous Story What was interesting about this one is that the clue was a picture. Nothing else. No words whatsoever. Below is the photo!

Solving the Puzzle

The original is from "Amorum Emblemata" by Otto van Veen. There is Cupid in all his glory passing a sleeping hare. The picture has a famous caption called hasten slowly or Festina Linte. The tortoise and the year also has this slogan. If you look at the colours in the middle of the photo it has 7 colours and 5 colours. The same amount of letters in Festina Linte. So now we know which colour corresponds to which letter. We can now piece together the rest of the frame.

We thought we were way off until one of our hunters came up with gm_il.c_m. We were able to decipher gmail.com from this. clue2key@gmail.com.
After we sent the email we got this reply.

And we have solved the key!!!

An interesting point here is that we thought we were on key -008 but when we solved the puzzle it shows us that we have solved key 009.

Some of you may be surprised to get some Satoshi Treasure Tokens but I have to stress this. We are at the start of this adventure and any contribution no matter how small means alot to the core team. You bring a fresh pair of eyes and we really do value your input no matter how small.

The Steem Hunt Clan

We feel good after this one as there has not been a clue solved in 1 month. The Audubon key and The Earth Key are still unsolved. It would be great to get some fresh minds in to help us with these. They are very technical so any experience in deciphering bmp files would be great. The best thing is that noone has solved this one. Have a look below

Our Clan has been building slowly and we are now up to 100 hunters in our discord channel. We love seeing new faces every day. We are in this for the long haul so feel free to come and go as you please. Some of the keys require different levels of expertise so some clues may not suit you.

Satoshis Treasure Token

To make sure we remain fair to the people who contribute the most , our great Steem platform is ideal for this. We have issued 1 million tokens on steem_engine platform.
There will be at least 400 keys to solve which means we have an average of $2500 tokens per key. We have divided this into an active hunt pool and a key finders pool. So all those who contribute on a hunt for a key will be rewarded. The more you contribute ,the more tokens you can accumalate. When and not if we gain enough support and expertise to unlock the $1 million in bitcoin then we will buy steem and buy back our tokens giving the hunters a nice little treasure chest to do as they please!! There is a small promo pool of tokens allocated to posts promoting the hunt initially. I laugh when I see the token worth $195,762. So if you truly believe we have the brains to do this then you can buy hunt tokens but only if some of the contributers want to sell theirs for a price.

New Clan Steem Address

@paulag was good enough to give us our own address so people can contact the username directly instead of looking for me. The steem username will now be @steemclan so from now on any Satoshi Treasure info will be posted from this address. This will be really great because we can upvote Satoshi Treasure posts and build steem power. We can now have more of a presence on the platform we love as well as discord. We will post up the clues and some of you that do not like discord can follow the hunt on Steemit and dtube. In time we can upvote all our hunt team with our vote. The possibilities are endless.

Influx of New Users

Due to security reasons we are not accepting anyone not over a level 40 rep on the steem blockchain. This is because in order to give our contributors their reward then they need a steem account.
There are a number of other clans that know we are a force to be reckoned with. Some want to come in and see how to solve a clue only to give their clans the info. Ths will be a problem with groups that do not have a platform like we have here on Steemit.
At the moment we are telling these new people to create an account and then come back to us after they reach a level 40 rep. Seems fair enough.
