It was still a long journey to Langsa city, the call to prayer had come. While we are still in Alue Bili, the solution is Baitul Mustaqim Mosque. Baitul Mustaqim mosque is located on the causeway that connects Lhoksukon city to Idi city. The mosque still uses old architecture, without doors and windows. The spacious courtyard and the mosque in the center are the characteristics of the old mosque. This mosque is open 24 hours, no closing hours. The Baitul Mustaqim mosque is also a place for the Friday confession agenda carried out by the North Aceh Police.

Inside

The interior of the mosque consists of large white columns, red prayer mats, a pulpit and a pair of fans on the walls. The white ceiling has brown carvings that add to the beauty of this mosque.

Prayer mat

The spread prayer mat is red in color, large and thick. The prayer rugs are spread out in two safes only because if they are spread out the whole thing will get dirty quickly because this mosque does not have glass and doors.

I was on my way to Idi city, when the call to prayer came I was confused about finding a mosque and finally stopped at this mosque. This mosque is very easy to access because it is right beside the road. The cozy atmosphere and the lawn that stretches next to the mosque add to the comfort of worship.

There are two charity boxes available at the Baitul Mustaqim mosque. The green charity box is to be circulated immediately after the congregational shala is over. The permanent charity box is located at the entrance of the mosque and is black in color. Worshipers can also put a small amount of alms into the charity box while leaving or entering the mosque.

Fan and Speaker

Other facilities include fans and speakers. There are about six fans located on the walls of the mosque. The fans make the atmosphere in the mosque cooler and cooler. There are also speakers that function to make the sound louder so that the worshipers listen clearly.

Pulpit Lecture

Baitul Mustaqim mosque also has a pulpit near the mosque imam. This pulpit is useful for preachers to give tausiyah on Fridays and other holidays.

Quran cupboard

Another facility available in this mosque is a cupboard containing the Koran. Visitors or worshipers who stop by the mosque or finish praying, who want to read the Koran are available in the cupboard.

Information Board

Information boards provide information - information related to the development of the Baitul Mustaqim mosque. Information boards are also a medium for visitors to find out what programs the mosque is running.

PBaitul Mustaqim Mosque also has toilets for men to urinate and defecate. The atmosphere in the toilets is clean and fragrant and free from dirt.

Female Ablution Place

In addition to male ablutions, female ablutions are also available. The women's ablution place is separate from the men's place. In the women's ablution area there is a toilet and a water tap for ablution.

Parking Area

The mosque parking area is very large. Four-wheeled cars, buses or fusos can enter the mosque grounds for their drivers to pray. Motorcyclists can also park their vehicles quietly and comfortably here.
