DECISIONS:THE WAY TO POWER
BORIS PASTERNAK
Now is the time to design the next ten years of your life, and not once they have passed. We must seize the moment. Surely, it will have reached somewhere in ten years. The question is: where? What will it have become? How will he live? What will it contribute? Our life is made up of decisions. Some of our decisions are life or death; others are less important. How to make better decisions? The most powerful way to shape our lives is to take action.
The difference in the results that people produce comes from what they have done differently with respect to others in the same situations. Different actions produce different results, why? Because any action is a cause set in motion, and its effect is added to the past effects to make us move in a particular direction. Each direction leads us to an ultimate destination: our destiny.

In essence, if we want to direct our own lives, we must take charge of controlling our actions. What shapes our lives is not what we do from time to time when, but what we do consistently. Therefore, the key and most important question is: what precedes all our actions? What determines the actions What do we take and, consequently, who we become and what is our ultimate destiny in life? What is the father of the action?
The answer, of course, is what I have been referring to so far: the power of decision. Everything that happens in your life, both what excites you and the Things that challenge you, start with a decision. and I am convinced that the destiny of each one of us is configured in the moments of decision. The The decisions you are making right now, every day, will not only shape the way you feel today, but also what you will become in the coming.
During the past decade of your life, did you experience emotions of tragedy and frustration, of injustice and helplessness? I, of course, experienced them. In that case, what did you decide to do about it? Did he continue to push beyond his own limits, or did he decide to abandon the fight? To what extent have those decisions shaped the path of your current life?
BENJAMIN DISRAELI

I am convinced that it is our own decisions, and not the conditions of our lives, that shape our destiny more than anything else. Both you and I know that there are people who are born with advantages: they have genetic, environmental, family or relationship advantages. And yet, we also know that we know constantly, or we read or hear about people who, against all possibilities, have reached far beyond the limitations imposed by their conditions, making new decisions about what to do with their lives. They have thus become examples of the unlimited power of the holy spirit that dwells in us and gives us of its divine nature.
If we decide that way, both you and I can turn our lives into one of those inspiring examples. How? Simply, taking decisions about of how we want to live in the years to come. If you do not make decisions about how you want to live, then you have already made a decision in some way, do not you think? He has made the decision to let himself be guided by circumstances, instead of setting his own destiny. All my life changed in a single day, the day I decided not just what I was I would like to have in life or what I wanted to become, but in who I was committed to be and what I was committed to have in my life.
It is a very distinctive simple, but critical. Think for a moment. Is there a difference between feeling interested in something and committing to it? You can bet yes! Many times, people say things like, "Wow, I'd really like to earn more money," or, "I'd like to be closer to my children », or:« You know? I would like to do something different in life ». But that kind of affirmations does not mean any commitment. In them only one preference is affirmed; is like saying: "I would be interested because this happens if I did not have to do anything to achieve it". That is not power! That is just a weak sentence that does not even contain the faith to undertake anything. Remember "Faith without works is dead"

If you do not establish a basic line of criteria for what you are willing to accept in your life, you will discover how easy it is
it is sliding towards behaviors and attitudes or toward a quality of life that is far below what it deserves, of what God has created for you. You need to establish those criteria and live in accordance with them, no matter what happens in your life. Even if everything goes wrong, even if it rains during your parade, even if the stock market collapses or the person you love abandon, even if they defame, slander, envy you, even if no one offers you the support you need, you have to remain committed to your decision to live your life at the highest possible level.
Unfortunately, most people never do this because they are too busy finding justifications. The reason why he has not reached his goals or do not live the life you want is due to the way your parents treated you, or the lack of opportunities during your youth, or the education you did not receive, or because you are too old, or too young. All these excuses are no more than belief systems, and they are not only limiting, they are destructive.
We must focus on our purpose of life, what God gave us, in that plan, if someone takes away your support, others will come who support it and in a better way.
His life changes in the same moment he makes a new, congruent and committed decision. Who could have imagined that the determination and conviction of a quiet and modest man, a lawyer by profession and a pacifist on principle, had the power to crumble a vast empire? And yet, the indomitable decision of Mahatma Gandhi to free India from the British government was a real barrel of gunpowder that set in motion a whole chain of events that would forever change the balance of world power. People did not understand how he could achieve his goals, but Gandhi did not allow himself any other choice than to act according to his awareness. He simply refused to accept any other possibility.
My life is divided into two as the history of humanity: before Christ and after Christ, he took captive everything that prevents us from being happy, progress, but also left us the opportunity to decide.
Will today be the day when I finally decide that what is as a person is much more than what he has been demonstrating? Will today be the day you decide, once and for all, to turn your life into something consistent with the quality of your spirit, proclaiming: "I am a child of God, this is what I am. This is what my life, and this is what I'm going to do to get it. Nothing will prevent me from reaching my destiny. I will not let anyone deny me, God is with me?
GOETHE
Proverbs: 13-16
13 Blessed is the man who finds wisdom,
And who gets the intelligence;
14 For his gain is better than the profit of silver,
And its fruits more than fine gold.
15 More precious is the precious stones;
And everything you can wish for, can not be compared to it.
16 Length of days is in his right hand;
To your left, rich and honor.

Taking decision remains one of the most challenging task for man because it serves as a reckoning point for success or failure. But thanks to God Who is always ready to teach man to choose rightly through His Spirit. He admonished us to choose life and blessings. This life can only be obtained through Christ who is the wisdom of God. In my yesterday's blog on Wisdom, we saw in Proverbs 2:6 that wisdom for decision can be gotten from the mouth of God in His word.

Thank you for the wonderful post. Indeed there is a difference between having interest in a dream and actually being committed to achieving that dream. It's OK to dream big but without diligence and hard work, there will be no tangible result. With diligence comes consistency and then expertise and excellence.
Sometimes in life it's just best to sharpen oneself with the criticisms of others instead of sitting down to wallow in self pity, hatred and grudge.
The earlier we understand the fact that adversity serves as the furnace to test us and furnish us into pure gold, the better; that way we get better and stronger after each fall or failure and appreciate the entire journey to greater heights.

Sometimes it is difficult to decide but it is necessary to do it, making decisions will not always be easy, but we have a spirit of self-control and self-control that will lead us to take the correct one.
A decision can change the course of our history, good message @darlenys01.
Decisions mark a ante and a later in our lives, to take them we need the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
We can follow the example of Jesus, who made the greatest decision that can be taken, give his life for the love of humanity, without him did not we can also under the guidance of his word make the right decisions.
A decision save the world, and we can touch the lives of others by right decisions, based on the Christ-redeemer.
You are right, we spend years in vicious circles, we are not happy, just because we lack the courage to make decisions, when God has given us a spirit of courage.
