With the development of information and digital technologies, information flowed into the houses. Among the programs, movies and shows there is a variety of entertainment, educational. Quality and not much.

Parents who are often busy with work or housework regularly use this method to "calm" their children on how to turn on the television. And now, half an hour, and even more, peace and tranquility is provided. The baby is watching. Mom - busy with your worries.

Approximately 5 out of 10 children under two years of age spend between 2 and 5 hours a day watching television. At three years, this figure reaches almost 8 out of 10.

Of course, not everything is so terrible, if you use television in moderation. For example, together with the child see a caricature. So it will not hurt the child, on the contrary, good old caricatures have great educational value.

In addition, a cartoon lasts an average of ten minutes, so there will be no damage from viewing. Another thing you should keep in mind is the age of the child. So, for example, cartoons with a simple plain plot will be suitable for the little ones. For the older ones, you can include cartoons with complex frames in which the world of relationships is established.

On equal terms with benefits, for example, older preschoolers improved their communication skills, expanded their vocabulary and received additional training for elementary school.

Watching television does irreparable damage.

Putting a baby up to two years in front of the screens should remember that for a child it is a moment to know the real, and not the virtual world. Children often can not distinguish events on video. This is due to the level of brain development.

Two-year-olds recognize the living world much better. Watching television not only, does not develop mental abilities, it inhibits them. There are programs that significantly reduce the possible vocabulary. And speech is directly related to thought.

Another situation is when the informative, visual and audible noise accompanies almost whole days. Parents claim that a child falls asleep better under "TV". Yes, he falls asleep, of course. The price of such tranquility is intense exhaustion through one or several channels of perception. The child simply tires of the noise of the television and goes off.

The opposite situation, when a child "stays awake" late, fascinated by another caricature. The consequences of the morning: bad mood, moods and aggression will not make you wait.

Recommendations to parents:

✔ Do not leave the television on without your presence! Keep in mind that how and how much your child sees it!

✔ Under no circumstances should there be a television in the children's room.

✔ Limit the time of watching programs up to 1 hour per day! Babies under one and a half years are generally better up to 15 minutes a day.

✔ Replace the virtual world with live communication with reading books, outdoor walks and mobile and emotional games!

Remember, preschoolers have an outstanding activity: play, with the development of creative thinking, the resolution of problems and the establishment of communication with others.

True!

I am not expert or parent but I think this is a subject every parent needs to consider. With IPHONES and all the other electronic devices children are constantly exposed to these types of things. What ever happened to playing in nature or using your imagination? Good job on bringing up an important subject. :)
