Summary Report | SLC S26 Week- 5 | Second chance romance

Hello, my dear fellow Steemians,

I welcome you to weekly report of the "Steemit Learning Challenge Season 26 Week-5,". This was fifth week of the challenge, and as expected, this week I received average number of posts as in my previous weeks in this contest.

The number of posts we receive this week 45 which was not as bad the way we were moderating and checking them. I guess a few people stayed back due to our standards and demands but we had decided to no favors, no lower standards or no compromises with our set criteria.

This week's prompt was again a tricky one as I wanted to test how many jump to fictional story without understanding the prompt and they proved me right. There were a few close with point but most contestants did not read the catch but diving into the patch up work. I wanted to see what Dennis thought or how he recalled their past once he had a heated conversation and Jenny left his cabin followed by Dennis himself.

In fact this week's prompt had wide scope as the contestants could show Dennis going back into the past and share his experiences, his guilt as well as use of fiction, but most user did not look at real point or missed the finer points even if by a whisker.

I received a total 45 entries, and all of them were 'almost' valid (One contestant deleted his post). As expected, most participants used various forms for getting their ideas but most missed the actual one. Fortunately we did not see much use of AI barring a random few but we gave them benefit of doubt merely deducting their points. However, one of them challenged us and got what he deserved. We used our analytic assessment/tools and our common sense including participants previous posts for references as we did in the previous weeks.

Once again @waqarahmadshah was at his best with his unbiased assistance, so we did our best checking the posts based on the set criteria of content, story, originality, formatting, presentation, uniqueness, and, of course, our observation. We, received no protests based on word limitations imposed but that's another test of the contestants and I have no plan to compromise on that even in the final week.

We had to 6 select winners of the week from as once again there was tie between 6 for the last five places so I had to select one "out" by using spin wheel:
