I have been using different maps (which includes Google Maps, of course) but I prefer using Map Marker now. First, I don't have to go online to find places. It is free even without data!

What I also like from this app os you cna organize the places you visited. You can setup where you've been, and mark it for future visits. You can even save the home of someone you knew or friend, and even enter some remarks.

It has a lot more features actually!
