I want to wish everyone a happy Martin Luther King jr. Day. Dr. King was a man of God and chose to embrace the Christian values of love, forgiveness, truth, family, encouragement and peace. He brought a wealth of wisdom to the table and the love of God to the world. His example brought peaceful demonstration rather than riots in the streets. Dr. King was a man of God and family. I am grateful for the example he set as a freedom fighter for the world to follow.

He refused to embrace violence yet violence embraced him when he was sadly shot and killed. I sometimes wonder if the powers-that-be at that time wanted him to be more violent to stir up the pot. And perhaps his refusal to be violent cost him his life.

Marin Luther King Jr. would stand against the CPS

Apathy is not the answer. I truly believe that if Martin Luther King Jr. were alive today, he would be standing with families against the evil filth of the CPS foster care system. I believe he would be fearless as a freedom fighter. He would defend the innocence of children and have rallies and speeches that would end child theft, kidnapping and human trafficking. He would be a supporter of @familyprotection.

We must carry the mantle of truth.

It is up to us to fight evil fearlessly and be a defender of freedom and truth. We must stand for protecting families and children safeguarding them from kidnapping, child trafficking and theft of any kind. We must be a voice for the voiceless, a comfort to those in pain, and a shelter for the defenseless. Martin Luther King Jr. set a priceless example for us to follow. The mantle is ours. Apathy is not an option. The dream must live!

One person changed the world.

Think of what we can do together to protect and support children and families. We are many but one cause. Our impact to spread truth and be a light overwhelms me with astonishment. Together we can end child theft. As January is National Human Trafficking Prevention month, I would encourage all @familyprotection bloggers to use this opportunity to promote awareness to the plight of the family. Folks may be listening more this month to the message we bring @familyprotection.

As you celebrate the holiday, may you take a moment to reflect on the values he stood for. May love, forgiveness, encouragement and peace be a part of your life always. And may you stand for freedom, truth, children and family. Keep dreams alive!
