When we were in the world without God and without hope, we were carried away by the disorderly desires of our flesh. Overwhelmed by fear, insecurity, doubts and wrong thoughts of ourselves and others.

Sunk in vices and prisoners of low passions, which led us to the immoral actions that made us deserving of eternal punishment. However, God showed his love for us, that although we were dead in our crimes and sins, Christ died on the cross to redeem us from every curse.

Life without Christ is a life of disordered passions of the flesh; You become easy prey to adultery, fornication, witchcraft, witchcraft, dissension, contests, trials, gossip and countless crimes of which, if there is no regret, we are under sentence.

In the world, there is no way to control the desires of the flesh. To live in the flesh is to remain under the control of darkness.
In truth, it is that, without Christ, life in the world is hellish.

The great news of all this is that Christ became like man and experienced everything we have lived under the desires of the flesh. Christ, being a man, was tempted in all things, without sin.
That is why the word says:

Because we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who was tempted in everything according to our likeness, but without sin. Therefore, let us confidently approach the throne of grace, to attain mercy and find grace for timely relief (Hebrews 4: 15-16).

Keep in mind that the word says that Christ, like man, was tempted in everything, but without sin.
Thank God that Christ lived in our own flesh what we have been suffering in this clay vessel, which is our body.
All the passions and desires of the flesh, Christ experienced in his body, but he had the great capacity not to fall into sin. This experience of Christ as a human, leads him to understand the weaknesses of men, and now Christ sitting at the right hand of the Father as Great High Priest, can pity our weaknesses and intercede for us before the Father.

This whole word is great and fills us with hope. It is notorious to clarify that Christ takes pity on those who have received him in his heart as a personal savior, therefore, it is important to take the step of faith and confess Christ as his savior.

We have a high priest who understands us because he experienced the challenges of the flesh, and now in Christ we have the maximum protection with the Holy Spirit that was sent to us from the heavenly Father, to counter the enemy's attacks.

Overcoming the desires of the flesh leads us to have a personal relationship with God, so that through the Holy Spirit we can enjoy his divine protection and be filled with the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, goodness, temperance. , Faith, meekness and patience. When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, God's love manifests, which allows us to feel sorry for each one of us.

When God enters our lives, a restoration process begins in us that ends until we are removed from the earth. All things that do not please God are eliminated, one by one, until he restores all that Satan has stolen from us.

We can thank God, then, because we have a high priest, who feels sorry for our weaknesses, and it is Christ Jesus.
