Krasavino. Grandma's house
For regular readers of my blog, the city of Krasavino should already be well known. It is a neighboring city with Veliky Ustyug, which is 25 km away. In Krasavino, I spent my childhood, went to my grandmother on vacation in summer and winter. Now I come only to look at the state of the house, in which no one has lived for a long time and hardly ever will be.
Traveling through abandoned villages and watching whole villages disappear into the past, I can understand anyone who feels nostalgia and longing for their native places, who are saddened by the appearance of a dilapidated parental home.
I feel about the same...
If in any other village I can only imagine how the children and grandchildren were running there, how life was going on. Here I personally spent time and remember everything to the details, like yesterday.
Here I go from the bus stop, which is very close. I turn off the road and always stop at the bridge over the Lapinka river to admire the view.
Then I immediately steep climb up the wooden stairs.
Here, too, you need to stop halfway and take a breath. At one time it is difficult to overcome such an obstacle.
Once there was a bench, you could even sit.
Previously, Christmas trees seemed taller, and the branches thicker.
Everything around is rapidly overgrowing, as the grass is rarely mowed down.
Sometimes, while I climbed up, I would collect a half-pack of different mushrooms.
After the stairs, grandma's house stands second to the edge. Here it is a native bathhouse!
Along the fence was a long woodpile. From the fresh chocks lying around the gate, I could already determined the front of work for the coming week. It was necessary to split them all and put in a woodpile.
Grandmother never locked the door. A stick was simply attached to the door - this meant that there was no one at home.
A large window opened in hot weather.
And this is an extension called the bedroom. Sunlight came here only at dawn.
The house even has a stable. Once upon a time, my grandma kept pets.
On this road, I went on a moped, on a motorcycle, walked for water.
There was a glade where I collected strawberries.
When a motorcycle or car passed by, I ran to the road and watched.
The only thing that has not changed in many years is the quality of the road. It is still bad.
I have been shooting this view for the past years at different times of the year.
Now that I have no grandmother left and that happy time, I need to do everything possible so that my son also has a happy childhood.
Your photos are great. I understand. The cabin where I spent summers with my grandparents has been torn down and a huge new home has been built there. I only went back one time, it makes me so sad.
