A company can have a great product or service but without great relationship with customers, there is very little chance of success.
Most businessmen understand the need to spend time with their customers on unofficial ground.
They would lower down their pride and ego just to please their customers in various ways.
Good relationship can often bring big business deals.
Lose to gain
Many businessmen enjoy playing sport games like golf or tennis.
Learning the commonly used sports for business is a great start for good customer relationship.
While playing with customers, we must often learn to ensure that the game is competitive enough for our customers to feel the thrill.
Many businessmen often lose to their customers intentionally to satisfy the ego of customers.
Losing only slightly can bring great satisfaction to customers.
In the game, we may lose but we may have clinched a business deal through losing the game.
Lose a bet to win a fortune
There are also many customers who love to play poker.
It is really crucial to know how to play skilfully to allow our customers to have some man-made good luck.
Everyone loves money so throwing some cash away in poker can lead to unmeasurable delight of our customers to give us the business deal that we want.
Pleasing a customer using greed and the thrill of winning money can sound really low but many businessmen do it for the sake of better customer relationship.
Drink to succeed
It is hard not to drink during business discussion.
Through drinking, our customers may let down their guard and also openly share their business requirements unknowingly.
They may share what they did not like about how other companies had tried to close their deals.
By knowing more, we really not only have good relationship but gather internal business information to clinch the deal easily.
In conclusion
There are many unscrupulous ways that businessmen used to entertain the customers.
Before I became a teacher, my previous occupation required me to go out in the evening to entertain customers through drinking and having expensive meals.
With good relationship, it was easy to discuss about the final bill of the service that my company provided.
I can see many benefits of business entertainment but I did not like them very much even though business entertainment can build great business links that lead to big profits to companies.
