What role does the Holy Spirit fulfill?

in #sc-v6 years ago

Perhaps you have asked yourself: What is the Holy Spirit ? and we usually say that we feel the presence of the Holy Spirit, and we ask for the address of the Holy Spirit and listen in the church: God the Father, God the Son and God Holy Spirit

But who is the Holy Spirit and how does this work?

Hello Steemians, blessed day, I greet you @genesis2000. I just want to remind you that each blog is a challenge for you and me, even if it does not seem like it; because the purpose of this is that we can learn together and improve each day.

It is quite complex to explain it in human terms, for that reason we must ask for discernment for these issues, because not many find logic.

We believe in God. God creator of the entire universe but he divides into three:

  • Father God
  • God the Son "and"
  • God Holy Spirit

This DOES NOT mean that there are three Gods that are one. If not it is a God represented in three different ways.

I'll give you 2 examples.

In the first example I will take as a reference a paper hour. Imagine that you have a white sheet but you break it in three heavy ones.

They are not three leaves, they are three pieces of ONE SINGLE LEAF. And with each piece you can do something different.

The other example is from a tree.

The tree is ONE ONLY, but each part fulfills a different function, and that does not mean that they are different trees. It is one.

Now, what do I mean by this ...

  • God the Father: It is literally God is your maximum power, which has never left your spiritual area, to put it in any way.

  • God the Son: That is the one we know as Jesus and in the old testament is represented as the Angel of God, the Angel of the Lord or the Angel of the Lord

And this is God is his human form.

  • God Holy Spirit: In the Old Testament we see how it is written "When the Spirit of God descended" And in the New Testament we learn about him in a permanent way for our lives.

And I say PERMANENT because when Jesus came to this earth he did many miracles, he healed the people, he told them they had to do, but when Jesus leaves he said:

John 16: 7 "But I tell you the truth: It is better for me to leave because, if I do not, the Comforter will not come to you, but if I leave, I will send it to you ."

And we often say: "I would like Jesus to be here in front of me, to be healed, etc."

But clearly John 16: 7 Jesus leaves the holy spirit permanently in us, where we do not need to be priests and make sacrifices to enter the temple and feel the presence of the Holy Spirit

And when you are in those moments of prayer and feel a presence that is the Spirit of God that we have in our lives.

And the reality is that God gives us this gift of the Holy Spirit because he is the one who will help us in our life as believers, in conviction, in direction, because he will be our counselor and comforter.

The Holy Spirit is the one who guides us towards the truth.

Luke 11: 13 If you, even though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him! "

When we receive Jesus in our hearts, he sends the Holy Spirit to dwell in us, he is not only in a temple, but we all have access to the Holy Spirit if only we are we ask God.

John 14: 26 "But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you."

Sometimes we ask God and Jesus a lot but we forget the important role that the Holy Spirit has and that is dwelling within us.

There are times when we pray for other people, and words start coming out of our mouth, which are not ours, but it is the Holy Spirit taking control, and bringing revelations to us of what may be happening. person for whom we are praying.

As we ask God, we must also ask the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit give me wisdom
Holy Spirit Guide me

And when you connect with him, in your room or wherever you are you will descend a presence SO WONDERFUL that is not easy to explain.

I usually explain that we are like a glass, and when we are praying, it is as if they are filling us with water and the more we connect with the Holy Spirit, the more we fill up, to the point where the glass is us , we are so filled with his presence that he overflows in us and the Holy Spirit begins to manifest in different ways.

Some of us cry, laugh, sing, dance, tremble, etc. And maybe those who are not from the church see it as strange, but it is because something is happening SOBRENATURAL in a NATURAL body and obviously as they are totally different things, there is a different reaction, but fascinating

Acts 1: 8 "But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will receive power and you will be my witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth . "

We must understand that we have POWER. And little by little and with practice, you are going to realize when you are talking about you and when it is the Holy Spirit

Because he is the one who gives us this help and tells us what to do.

I encourage you to

  • Study more about the Holy Spirit
  • Speak and ask the Holy Spirit
  • That you make part of your day-to-day belief
