North Queensland river has broke it's banks - Hundreds of people remain cut off after a deluge pushed far-north Queensland's Daintree River. The river peaked at close to 12.6 metres on Saturday night, breaking a record that stood for 118 years.

Meanwhile the US looks like it is set for some record cold temperatures as a cold front is fast approaching from the North. Here It is another beautiful day in Costa Rica with 30 Centigrade and 69% humidity. Waves are 2-3 foot with cross shore breeze.
