My New Favorite Matcha Place | EJ's Garden By The Bay Cafe
Hello itinerants all over the world and steem community! I am feeling so great knowing that my health has been doing better now compared a few days ago. I have had a cough for almost two weeks already but fortunately with the help of exercise and eating and drinking healthy I am feeling okay now. In today's content I will be sharing this favorite drink of mine which truly helps me everytime I feel under the weather. It became my therapeutic drink and happens to be one of my favorite drinks of all time which is hot matcha tea ior matcha frappe.
I am just lucky enough to have stumbled upon this cafe which good matcha tea. EJ's Garden By The Bay is actually a Filipino restaurant, a cafe and a drinking place. The place is actually just like a garden of a nearby hotel where they put up a cafe and a restaurant. This really gives you refreshing environment since it's just a few steps away from the baywalk. They offer variety of rice meals, snacks and drinks.
The place is good whether for family occassions, a study place for students and professionals who just wanna make use of their high speed internet connection. The place is very comfortable and homey specially in the morning and afternoon when there's not much people yet unlike in the evening where they start to operate their night pub resto just outside the cafe which operates from 5:00 PM up until 12:30 AM.
The place is spacious enough to accommodate many customers. You can also dine outside the cafe which is very relaxing since they planted trees and plants around the area and sometimes the sea breeze comes to the area since the baywalk is just on the other side.
WHAT WE GOT?
I ordered my favorite and comfort drink which is Matcha. The two of my favorites are the matcha frappe which costs 175.00 pesos and the hot matcha tea which costs 140.00 pesos. I am not just sure with their matcha hot tea it's not consistent with the taste there are times it's mild and sometimes it's just too sweet. They told me that they don't add sugar on it since they used real matcha powder maybe it has something to do with the amount of powder being poured.
If you happen to visit the province of Surigao City, it is just very accessible from the sea port, bus terminal and airports. It's just one ride away. You can take any cabs with an R1 route which is from bus terminal to sea port and vice versa you can just simply say the driver to alight you off at Tavern Hotel.
