Affordably Delicious Authentic Mexican Foods at Tacos Del Norte
Hello itinerants all over the world and steem community! I am delighted to bring you to an international food trip but we are not going anywhere else outside Philippines! I am bringing you with me to grab some bite in an Authentic Mexican Restaurant which is most famous in the Northern part of the Philippines. I think Mexican snack has always been everybody's favorite. Who doesn't crave for Buritos, Quesadillas, Tacos and the list goes on. ? If you love them too, please stay tuned!
Tacos del Norte is the most popular Mexican Restaurant in Ilocos, Philippines not just because it's the only restaurant which serves authentic Mexican foods but because they are actually mouth watering that definitely fit your budget!
They are situated somewhere at General Antonio Luna Brgy. 8 Laoag, Ilocos Norte. It is just in the plaza behind the jeepney terminal. The place isn't visible right away since it's in the corner of the plaza so better ask locals where to find it when you get to the plaza. I really do like place because it looks like you are in another country. As we all know, Ilocos Norte is famous for its vintage western inspired architecture. When you visit Ilocos it seems that you are in another country. As for me, it's one of the cleanest and organized Province in the Philippines.
The store is also color coordinated. The tables and chairs are painted based on the colors of the Mexican flag. As well as the brick walls painted to blend with the colors.

As you can see they serve their Mexican cuisines for only less than 200.00 pesos (4.00 US Dollars) which is already a good catch specially if you are a solo and budget traveler. They also some alcoholic beverages since it's also a drinking place at night. It's a good place to meet new people along your trip. It is not only visited by locals but also with foreign travelers or residents.
WHAT I GOT?
Prior to my visit I already had taken my lunch at a fast food chain. I just basically grabbed a snack which I tried their cheapest and best selling Quesadillas overloaded with cheese. For only 60.00 pesos you already have three pieces of this Mexican food. It's very puffed with vegetables and meat. It's enough to make you stuffed!
