Plans will be useless without carrying it out. We may say, "I'm not ready yet", but when are you going to be ready. If you will always wait until you are ready, then it's likely that you won't be able to start. At times, the best time to start is now. Yes, it's NOW and not WHEN YOU ARE READY.
It's glad that the rain has finally stopped, and it's quite sunny. Good enough for the flood to subside, and everything becomes dry.
I had a walk as I'm heading home as we evacuated at my sister's house which has higher elevation. The first floor of our house was submerged.
