Brigada Eskwela 2025 : Preparing for the Beginning of the School Year

Today is June 9,2025. Today is the first day of one week preparation for the opening of the school year. We call this program "Brigada Eskwela".

Early in the morning I wake up at 6:30, no enough time preparations for my 7:30am duty schedule. I just ate my breakfast at the nearest eatery in school so I will not be late in the biometrics attendance.

The program started at 8:30am. We have an opening program before we start the official preparation. We sing the Philippine National Anthem then followed by a prayer. A welcome address was given by the School Principal and some important reminders and assignment given by our Assistant Principal.

After overall program, we are tasked to sign the commitment wall to give our full support in our brigada Eskwela both parents and teachers.

At 9:30am, the program ended. The enrollment started on the stage. As I was about to go to clean, I saw that there were many parents lining up on the enrollment area so I decided to help. There were many parents coming for the first day of enrollment. The teachers assigned in the enrollment area didn't have the time to rest even drinking water due to many parents coming. But when it's 12:00noon, we temporarily stop the enrollment because we need to eat our lunch.

After eating lunch in the eatery near the school, I rest for a while. I went to my classroom and there were many things to be done and cleaned. I am waiting on some parents to help me clean the room.

I didn't waste anytime. While waiting for some parents to help, I started cleaning the room. When they came, they help through;

• Donations in kind or monetary
• Cleaning the window
• Mopping the floor
• Rearranging cabinets and tables
• Arranging the chairs

I have been tired all day. I have been hungry, too. I can't rest at home, there are many things I have to take care at home, my family. We went home at 4:30pm.
