You must often hear the proverb about "You've never too old to learn", right? The proverb sounding cool and wise, it turns out the truth can also be tested. Is it true ? Of course, you don't believe then prove it by yourself. Don't ask me to prove it. This proverb requires us to learn to believe by proving by yourselves, its not just seeing the beauty word and interpreting it with the truth.

Well, I want to share my experience in photography here, this world once only I admired but was never be able to offer any good photos. For me photography is only related to the purpose of making moment can be seen anytime and showing to others. But everything has changed since getting to know steemit as social media. The change happened because I found that photography had many fans so far. Photography also comes as authentic proof that you really are walking around or in traveling, what you do every day is really happening and what you are talking about can really be shown to others.

Now I'm not young anymore, I'm 37 years old now. I have passed the period of formal education too, now I am carrying out my duties as a law practitioner. In another sense, I was practicing what I had learned before on college. There is almost no chance specifically to be able to study on campus at this time, because of the demands of work, not because of willingness. But the passion for better learning is always inside me. Until finally I became acquainted with this platform where the content must be given interestingly, including photos. Who doesn't like it when a photo post gets a lot of fans and the much vote result.

In such a situation, I finally began to prepare myself, reading it could be by reading references related to photography, learning how the steem presents interesting photography content, whatever the need for good posts and there are still many things I must learn again. I tried to beat the theory that the spirit of youth was different from the spirit of learning when I was old. Waiting for a vote is not pleasant, then the vote must be sought and after coming, then take care of the vote properly.

Some of my photography now get a good appreciation, even though I'm still amateur, but I have seen a significant development towards photography that I gave, even some of them got praise because my progress increased. To learn, I need media and its happen now, Canon EOS 800D is in my hands presence today. But for shots, I'm still far from professionals. Therefore, I try to show new things as content.

Learn to catch flying object

The interest of new objects has always been a target that I have to fulfill every day, and today I found an interesting object which is a black wasp who was sucking on the essence of flowers. This is an interesting view today for me, I can practice how to take pictures of objects that like to move actively and this object flies from one flower to another. Sometimes my shot missed, sometimes I shot but it turned out that the picture quality was not good.

While playing with this object, it turned out to be able to repel my saturation at work, there was satisfaction when this wasp flew perfectly around the flowers, I was willing to jog around for this wasp. This is also supported by the striking colors of the flower. Yellow and black are very contrasting differences. This should be easy, but it doesn't. It's very difficult to capture this wasp. At first, it wasn't interesting at all, but because of my effort and hard work, there were some photos that looked perfect to me. Although it cannot be juxtaposed with professional photographers, but one of my strengths is that I am able to tell with my writing. I was lucky to be able to get two important lessons, namely photography and writing. At first, it was normal, but now it is amazing for me.

In essence, I was able to prove that age is not a barrier to learning and honing skills. As long as you are alive and alive, the ability to learn and learn something new will still be there. Like a sentence "will is the first step to realize desire"

Please wait for my writing about life, mindset, motivation and philosophy next, I interspersed with few original my own photos. Hopefully this article adds to the treasure of science and the development of mindsets in social media and in real life. All the support, criticism and input will be very valuable to me and I hope you appreciate this original work. Kamu pasti sering mendengar pepatah tentang tidak ada kata tua dalam belajar bukan ? “You’re never too old to learn“, selain terdengar keren dan bijaksana, ternyata kebenarannya juga dapat diuji. Apakah benar, tentu saja, kamu tidak percaya maka buktikanlah sendiri. Jangan suruh saya untuk membuktikannya. Pepatah ini menuntut kita untuk belajar percaya dengan membuktikan sendiri, bukan hanya melihat keindahan kata dan memaknainya dengan kebenaran.

Nah, disini aku hendak berbagi pengalamanku di photography, dunia yang dulu hanya ku kagumi namun tidak pernah bisa untuk mempersembahkan satu pun foto yang baik. Memotret bagiku hanya terkait dengan tujuan untuk membuat moment bisa dipandang kapan saja dan pamer ke orang lain. Tapi semua berubah sejak mengenal media sosial steemit. Perubahan itu terjadi karena sejauh ini aku menemukan bahwa photography memiliki banyak penggemar. Photography juga hadir sebagai bukti otentik bahwa kamu benar-benar sedang berjalan-jalan, apa yang kamu lakukan sehari-hari itu benar-benar terjadi ada dan apa yang kamu bahas itu benar-benar bisa ditunjukkan kepada orang lain.

Sekarang umurku tidak muda lagi, sekarang umurku sudah 37 tahun. Masa pendidikan formal telah aku lalui juga, sekarang aku menjalankan tugas sebagai praktisi hukum. Dalam arti lain, aku sedang mempraktekkan apa yang pernah aku pelajari dulu di kampus. Hampir tidak ada kesempatan untuk bisa menimba ilmu secara khusus di kampus saat ini, karena tuntutan pekerjaan, bukan karena kemauan. Namun semangat untuk belajar lebih baik selalu ada di dalam diriku. Hingga akhirnya aku berkenalan dengan platform ini dimana konten harus diberikan secara menarik, termasuk foto. Siapa yang tak suka ketika sebuah postingan foto mendapatkan banyak sekali penggemar dan hasilnya adalah banjir vote.

Dalam keadaan seperti itu, akhirnya aku mulai mempersiapkan diri, membaca itu bisa dengan membaca referensi yang terkait dengan photography, mempelajari bagaimana para steemian mempersembahkan kontent photography dengan menarik, apa saja kebutuhan untuk postingan yang bagus dan masih banyak hal yang harus aku pelajari lagi. Aku mencoba mengalahkan teori bahwa semangat saat muda berbeda dengan semangat belajar saat tua. Menunggu untuk mendapatkan vote itu tidak menyenangkan, maka vote itu harus dicari dan setelah datang, maka rawatlah vote itu dengan baik.

Beberapa fotografiku saat ini mendapatkan vote yang baik, meski aku masih amatiran namun aku sendiri melihat ada perkembangan yang signifikan terhadap fotografi yang aku berikan, bahkan beberapa di antaranya mendapatkan pujian karena progresku meningkat. Untuk belajar aku butuh media dan untuk hal ini telah terwujud hadirnya Canon EOS 800D di tanganku saat ini. Namun untuk hasil jepretan, aku masih tertinggal jauh dari para profesional. Oleh sebab itu, aku berusaha menampilkan hal-hal baru sebagai konten.

Belajar sabar dalam menangkap gambar tawon

Kepentingan objek baru selalu menjadi target yang harus aku penuhi setiap hari, dan hari ini aku menemukan objek menarik yaitu tawon hitam yang sedang menghisap saripati bunga. Ini adalah view menarik hari ini untukku, aku bisa mempraktikan bagaimana mengambil gambar dari objek yang suka bergerak secara aktif dan objek ini terbang dari satu bunga ke bunga yang lain. Terkadang bidikanku meleset, kadang berhasil aku shot tapi ternyata kualitas gambarnya tidak bagus.

Sambil bermain-main dengan objek ini, ternyata mampu mengusir kejenuhanku dalam bekerja, ada kepuasan saat tawon ini terbang sempurna mengitari bunga-bunga itu, aku rela untuk berlari-lari kecil demi tawon ini. Hal ini juga didukung dengan warna mencolok dari bunga tersebut. Kuning dan hitam adalah perbedaan yang sangat kontras. Harusnya ini menjadi mudah, tapi ternyata tidak. Sangat sulit untuk mengabadikan tawon ini. Awalnya memang tidak menarik sama sekali, tapi karena usaha dan kerja kerasku, ada beberapa photo yang terlihat sempurna untukku. Meskipun tidak bisa disandingkan dengan fotografer profesional namun satu kelebihanku adalah aku mampu menceritakan dengan tulisanku ini. Aku beruntung bisa mendapatkan dua pelajaran penting yaitu photography dan writing. Awalnya biasa saja, tapi sekarang menjadi luar biasa untukku.

Intinya, aku mampu membuktikan bahwa umur bukan penghalang untuk belajar dan mengasah kemampuan. Selama kamu masih hidup dan bernyawa, maka kemampuan untuk belajar dan mempelajari sesuatu yang baru akan tetap ada. Seperti sebuah kalimat "kemauan adalah langkah pertama mewujudkan keinginan"
