The internal external

'You can redefine your external world
by an internal experience with the love of God.'

~ Bill Johnson.

The external is simply a projection of the internal.

To an extent, the external world can be compared to a canvas; a blank screen for us to project our internal consciousness onto. It all emanates from within us; we literally project our thoughts and more so our consciousness outwards and create the world that we think we are in and that is around us, when in truth we are that world. On one level, there are the fundamental laws of this reality which go on subconsciously within us; the recognition of a spoon as a spoon, or the ability to visualise the spoon upon hearing its name. These are the pillars of our world.

Under the influence of psilocybin, I was able to reach a state of detachment from what seemed to be the external reality I found myself in; my ability to recognise objects for what they are vanished, and I felt like a veil has been lifted; I saw things for what they truly are. This experience revealed to me the illusory nature of the world we think we live in - the maya - as I saw these pillars crumbling before my eyes.

On another level - this level differs in all people, whilst the first is more or less the same for everyone - there are our beliefs. What we believe in determines the world we live in. It is as simple as that. If you wish to change the world, simply change your belief patterns and you will transform the world. As great as all of this may sound, here is where the complications with all of this come in.

Drunvalo Melchizedek's words

"The brain is a polarised instrument; half of it is male, half of it is female, and it is polarised further; there's a front lobe and a back lobe, and it keeps going, and because it is polarised - because it is what really creates good and bad consciousness - anything that you create through the brain is going to be polarised, and so if you have the intention of creating something, you're also going to get the exact equal and opposite thing that you don't want, and it's going to come at you from behind and you're not going to see it coming. So you're going to see what you got; you'll go, 'I got what I want', but then coming from behind you will be exactly what you don't want, and it will be of the same value, the same power as the other one."

The reason why I say that our beliefs limit us is because of the polarised nature of the space from where these beliefs emanate. As we begin to believe something, we naturally drift away from the opposite and condemn it. This is, in a way, us choosing sides; picking one over another - even if it may not seem like it. As we close ourselves off to certain dimensions of life because of our beliefs, we begin to build a barrier around us. This is caused by an imbalance in our perception of life. The truth is beyond duality, but if we stay on that level alone, and from there decide to shape our world with the help of polarised belief, we will never reach that beyond.

The only solution to this is to not reside in the brain; a migration to the heart - a place of true unity - is necessary. This is the only way to truly conquer the limitations brought forth by the mind with the help of beliefs.

In next week's post, I will look into cannabinoids.

Something to think on:

The veil is lifting; we are shifting.
