Unlimited Samgyupsal Dining in Tacloban City

The rising of Unlimited Korean BBQ Restaurants have finally reached our city.

I have had my first experienced of unlimited Samyupsal last year in Pampanga, however, I was fairly disappointed at that time. I wasn't satisfied with their side dishes and likewise the service was poor too.

So every time I hear Samgyupsal, my brain would tagged it negative. But, my friends are pretty convincing to try out the newly open SEOULicious Cheezy Samgyupsal in Tacloban City.

And I gave in. I have little resistance when it comes to food... hahahaha.. Oh well! It wont hurt to give second chances right.

The Venue

The location of the restaurant is situated in a Food Park. The place seems to be spacious and it is in open air. The fresh air comes from the Concobato Bay right next to it.

The Food

We actually went there on a holiday and I was surprised they were open. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves.

The Samgyupsal meal is at Php 259.00 ($4.77). Everything is grilled! It is a buffet kind of dining but you get to cook what you eat right before your table. So eat till you drop! hehe

The restaurant offers the following:

• Cheese (Cheddar+Mozzarella)
• Egg (with salt, pepper and spring onions)
• Kimchi
• Onions, garlic, siling haba and lettuce
• Meats and Side Dishes
• Rice
• Iced Tea

• Herb (Salt, pepper & rosemary)
• Galbi (Korean Marinade)
• Spicy Galbi
  

In fairness, all meat are tenderized a day before. They seem to be soft and juicy after being cooked! I truly enjoyed the Spicy flavor, it had a kick in my mouth but I do not mind.

• TJ Hotdogs
• Cream Dory Fish

I was surprised to see the hotdogs and Cream Dory Fish. I felt that the Cream Dory Fish is much more delicious when its grilled! I dont seem to like it when its cooked in creamy sauces.

Side Dishes :

• Tongbaechu-kimchi 통배추김치
• Japchae 잡채
• Coleslaw
• Scallion Salad - Pa Muchim 파무침
• Grilled Sweet Potato - Goguma 고구마
• Mung Bean Sprout- Sukjunamul-muchim

Every table has one grill for you and your friends or two if you are in big groups. They ahve limited grills so you have to set appointments for reservations.

And here is how I love each wrap i made!

One leaf lettuce with one meat slice (I prefer spicy) and hotdog, then add in some hot cheese...wooooooooah!

And then wrap it! Boom! Soooooo yummy!

You can also eat the meat and fish directly. But I pair it with the kimchi. Every flavors burst in my mouth!

Or meat with cheese! just be careful, the cheese is really hot and can burn your tongue.

My Verdict

It was a great buffet lunch I have ever had! I take it back, Samgyupsal is the best grilling experience you can share with your friends and family.

Every thing was unlimited, you can always ask for more. Make sure you can consume them for there is a hefty pay for leftovers.

I will surely come back!
