Summer Escape (Camping Adventure at Crique Midani)

One of my best moments this summer.
Hello Steemians,
This summer, I went on a 1 night camping trip by the sea at Crique Midani in Sejnane, Bizerte, Tunisia. It was the perfect mix of fresh air, beach vibes, delicious food, and peaceful nights.
The Journey
We started our travel early at 5:00am from Tunis. Honestly, I slept the whole way in the car, and when I woke up, we were already close to Sajennane.
Around 9:00am we arrived, and the first mission was to prepare everything: tents, mats, and all the camping material.

Setting the Camp
The place was magical quiet crique, surrounded by rocky hills and the blue sea.
We set up our tents, arranged the mats, and created a small cozy corner for relaxing.

Food Moments
Camping is not complete without food!
A special thanks to our chef Abdallah, honestly he’s the best cook I know. The pictures say it all, showing how delicious everything was:
- Lunch: Spaghetti, slata mechouia, Tunisian salad, fries, and a grilled swordfish steak with skipjack fish. For dessert, we had fresh watermelon and muskmelon.
- Dinner: A flavorful paella, filled with rice, shrimp, mussels, squid, chicken, and vegetables.
- Breakfast: A hearty spread of charcuterie, honey, a cheese omelette with our chef-style, two salads (including a rocket salad with cheese and meat), plus the essentials coffee and homemade cookies.

Beach & Relaxation
The sea was the true heart of the trip.
When it was time to swim, all smartphones stayed away from the beach no photos, just pure fun.
We swam, laughed, and enjoyed every wave. Later, i relaxed with a fresh mojito prepared by Hamza, sipping it slowly while watching the sunset, i even turned the car into a chair, making the moment simple yet unforgettable.

Night & Memories
At night, the campfire gave us warmth and a magical mood.
We shared food, listened to the sound of the waves, and watched the stars.
Abdallah’s kids helped by adding wood to the fire, smiling and enjoying the moment.

When I hear camping, the food I picture is the kind you prepare yourself around a campfire. 🤣😍
When I read that they had a chef and a huge, well-stocked pantry, I said to myself, "I have to learn how to camp that way."
A very entertaining and truly engaging post, both in terms of the story and the photography. I wanted to be there!
