Holy place #18 - "Shaheb Bazaar Big Jame Mosque, Rajshahi"

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen. Welcome to steem-atlas. I am here to participate in this Contest! 1001 Holy Places on the Steem Atlas Map #18 contest organized by our steematlas ambassador @miftahulrizky. I will review the Central Mosque of Rajshahi University.

The largest central mosque in Rajshahi city is the Sahib Bazar Big Mosque. Since it is the very center of the city, it is an ideal place of worship for all the people of the city. People come from far and wide to see this mosque and offer prayers. We also went to Rajshahi city a few days ago, so we could not wait to see that mosque. That is why we went there at night.

The mosque looks dazzling from inside at night. If you want to know about the gate of this mosque, then the gate of this mosque is made of completely white colored walls. There is a road to go from one side of the mosque to the other, through which vehicles pass because it is located in the busiest part of the city. If you are taking any vehicle, then you can park it directly under the mosque.

After entering the mosque, you must freshen up or do ablution, so you can see two ablution rooms there. There is only an ablution room on the ground floor which is used for prayers. Then from there I went to the second floor where there was a washroom and it was unknown, you can also take a bath there if you want, there are all the facilities. People come from far and wide, so they can choose this as a perfect place to freshen up. The space in each washroom is very large and well-lit.

After completing ablution and freshening up, you will enter the mosque. Since there were only a few of us, we chose each floor as we wished. I went upstairs, went to the bathroom, freshened up well, and prayed there, and some other people went downstairs. There is a large main gate to the ground floor, which is made entirely of glass. Since the entrance to this mosque is controlled, this glass door opens and closes automatically. After entering inside, I saw some people praying and the mosque committee members sitting together and having an important meeting about their mosque. You can see the AC and fan setup on top of the mosque.

We had been traveling there all day and were tired so we sat there for a while. Then we prayed together until our prayers were over. So when we finished praying, we observed the mosque from there well. There is a staircase to go down from the upper floor to the lower floor which is very clean although it was night time so there were few people. However, there is an instruction board where it is written which floor it is.

Since it is a central mosque, this mosque has all the facilities for all the worshippers to pray. I went to the left side of the stairs on the second floor where there is a small place where there is a large book shelf. Basically, it is a shelf of holy religious books. All the religious books of Islam are available here that people can read. There were three sectors divided into which categories of religious books were available. The most sacred book of our Islam, the Quran Sharif, was there. Apart from that, there were also books about the biographies of all the prophets and messengers.

There are several floors here, I went to the second floor from there. What I saw there were many people praying and praying to God. This is a holy religious place, so all the people come here and pray, cry, pray for everyone, that's why it is a holy place. I went there and prayed as we wished and I was very happy to see the decoration inside. The decoration above was wonderful. And each step in front is very beautifully designed, especially one AC has been installed on each sector. Its design is completely European style.

So we stayed in the mosque for a while and then we were leaving when I noticed some more important information. There were some important Arabic quotes written on the wall of the mosque, which are called religious quotes in our holy language. Those who know Arabic can easily tell what it means. Actually, the mosque is a holy place. My mind was fresh the whole time I was here. There was a door design in the wall, which is a symbol of a modern establishment. I liked almost all the steps of this mosque, especially the place where people pray inside is very peaceful and there is a world clock at the top outside the mosque so that all the people of the city can see the time.
