Map the Story #5 - "Orion Footwear Limited, Tangail"

Orion Group has a branch in Tangail, a popular shoe brand in Bangladesh. It is a special business unit of Orion Group which entered the market in 2015 with the slogan “knows your taste” and sells high-quality shoes through domestic and international supply. Here, many necessary clothes are available along with shoes of various domestic and foreign brands. This showroom is located in the middle of Tangail city, District Sadar Road, Akur Takur Para, Polashtoli Link Rd. Being located in the middle of Tangail city, this shop is very convenient for those who want to buy shoe items. After entering the shop, the main view will be seen where the name of the shop is written on a big signboard.

As soon as you enter the Orion showroom, you will see a kingdom of shoes. Decorated with various attractive designs and diverse shoe collections, this outlet is like a dream destination for shoe lovers. Each shoe is beautifully arranged as a display so that buyers can be attracted. CCTV cameras are running for security at all times.

It is monitored by skilled people on a computer 24 hours a day. Currently, the summer season is going on, so there is a summer shoe section. Shoes are available here for men, women, children and teenagers in various styles and needs. The ones you see below are called flat shoes. Which are generally suitable for casual use.

The interior of this showroom is fully air-conditioned. The picture above shows mostly normal sandals which are suitable for everyday use. Here some children's Converse were kept on top and men's shoes for adults were kept on the bottom. The brand logo was given on the shoes. Now if you want to say that I need an office shoe? Then you will also find office shoes of different brands there. When a man wears such band shoes in an office, he will be considered a gentleman. Some people's beauty is hidden in their shoes.

The prices of the office shoes shown above range from 1000 to 2000 taka, which is 76 to 153 Steem approx. You can quickly choose and purchase according to your choice. All the staff there have behaved very humanely and friendly. If you bring the shoes home and find any defect or fault after purchasing them, you can return them within 72 hours and you will not be charged any extra.

However, the menu card and packet of the shoes must be intact. There are different types of formal shoes. However, sometimes the shoes can become discolored due to dust, so there are shoe polishes of different sizes to recolor them. The prices vary according to their size. The shoes have been designed according to the preferences of women, keeping in mind the color, design and fashion. Heels or slip-on shoes that match sarees or salwar-kameez are especially popular. Their price ranges from 1200 taka to 2500 taka. Which is 92-192 STEEM approx.

I asked the shopkeeper if he could show me a sturdy pair of Converse for my younger brother. He measured my feet and showed me several types of Converse. I basically liked all the Converse. I was sitting on the side and resting. The floor inside the showroom is decorated with sparkling clean and glossy tiles, which gives it a brighter look. There are separate sofa sets for sitting inside.

There is a combination of ceiling lights, focus lights and LED spot lighting throughout the showroom. Each shelf and shoe display unit has separate lighting. These types of shoes are very suitable for those who walk, run or exercise every day. Although the price of these shoes is a little high. However, they are suitable for long-term use due to the comfortable cushioning and durable sole according to the structure of the foot.

Apart from this, there are shoes suitable for different seasons such as waterproof shoes for the rainy season, leather or closed shoes for the winter. If someone wants to buy shoes as a gift, then there is also a gift packing facility. There is an extra warehouse right in front of the counter section where extra shoes of different sizes are kept. The counter section is in a very quiet environment where you can pay the bill peacefully.

Orion Footwear Limited is growing in popularity in Tangail. People in this area are interested in branded yet locally made products and Orion fulfills that need. Local college and university students, employees, housewives and even parents buy shoes for their children from here. This showroom has a total of four staff and one cashier. The crowd in this showroom increases during various festivals, such as Eid, Puja or Baishakh.(Holy ceremony).

Along with quality products, regular discounts or discount offers are also one of the reasons for its popularity. During the Eid season, some shoes such as Converse, slippers and children's shoes are given 30% off. Overall, I like this system.
