Hello Dear Steemians..

We are happy to announce a new initiative Street Journalist for a Day. We have been involved in many professions in life. Today is a social and educational challenge, where participants will be street journalists for a day. We will observe and report on the lives of small businesses and ordinary people on the streets of the city, next to offices, hospitals, schools, industrial areas or any employment.

I'm giving my best in this Running Steemit Challenge Season 26. So we want to bring the stories, struggles and achievements of small business owners, workers and ordinary people to the society. These stories will be presented through pictures, videos, short interviews and written stories. The main topic is that you have to fulfill the duties of a journalist for a day. You can do this like a regular Atlas Review. This is not just an educational challenge, it is also a social documentation in a sense. Each week of this 6-week challenge will focus on a different roadside business.

Each participant must pin their reporting location on Steem-Atlas. Since you will be a journalist for a day, this is a must-do for your experience. This will bring our goal to life, as each story will have a different geographical location, a different reality behind it.

A one-day Street Journalist (6 Week Plan) :-

Week No	Theme	Short description
Week 1	Festival-centric business	As a one-day journalist, we have to highlight the stories of small businesses built around religious events in our city, such as Eidgahs, fair grounds, puja pavilions, or Baisakhi fairs.
Week 2	Stalls in factories and industrial areas	As a journalist for a day, you will have to cover the story of a businessman selling cheap food, shoes, or clothing to workers next to a garment/factory.
Week 3	Business at the transport station	As journalists, we have to report on the shops or small businesses that operate next to bus stations, train stations, auto rickshaw stations, or car terminals.
Week 4	Public Parks and Recreation Center Business	As a journalist, you have to highlight any parks, zoos, tourist spots, or businesses selling food at riverbanks.
Week 5	The struggle of street hawkers	We need to do journalism about how hawkers continue their business in our cities, despite sidewalk occupations, evictions, or police harassment.
Week 6	Report on the street market	As a one-day journalist, you will have to cover the real-life experiences of weekly, monthly raw market or any business held in a village or city.

A one-day Street Journalist Goals and Objectives ✅

• Making yourself a brave blogger to Journalist.

• To geographically identify each story and connect it to Steem Atlas.

• To increase the observational and narrative skills of the participants.

• To reflect life in images, videos or short stories.

• Each week we will provide guidance, advice, and evaluation of the work of all participating writers.

• We will be responsible for publishing guidance posts every week.

• We will select the 6 best posts with the highest quality each week.

• Each post must have a Google maps + SteemAtlas location pin.

• Share original and real experiences in your own language.

• Plagiarism, bot-content, AI copying are not acceptable.

• Add your own photos, videos, short interviews if necessary.

"A one-day Street Journalist" is a social and educational initiative. Each participant will be a journalist who will cover the stories of small street traders and ordinary people.

Does your city still have religious, monthly, annual, traditional events? Then feel free to become a journalist for a day. You go to that place and present the local businesses of those places to us. Write about it. Feature it in Stimatlas.

We know that learning from the new is what we need to achieve. So we want to be a part of this season and hope that our application will be well received by all of you.

Finally, I want for permission again to add Steem Atlas, to participate in Steemit Challenge Season 27, from its founder @pennsif. Steem Atlas will be collaborating.
