Psa 126:5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

The greatest Joy as a Christian is when we take our place in the Great Commission.

The Harvest is where the Joy is!
Psa 126:1 A Song of degrees. When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

If you look at the original language, “JOY” means to spin around. Have you ever been so happy that your jump up and down and spin in circles? This is a product or response to our inner joy.

EVERY CHRISTIAN SHOULD HAVE THE JOY OF THE LORD, BUT THERE IS A JOY RESERVED ONLY FOR THOSE INVOVLED IN THE GREAT COMMISSION. GO!

Psa 21:1 The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

Neh 8:10b neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

• Our joy is that our own sins are forgiven
• We have already began to enjoy heaven while still on this earth
• We have the assurance of our salvation and know where we will spend eternity

Joh 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
Joh 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Wine makers make wine and now and then, a batch of wine turns out very special. They bottle this wine and label the bottle “Reserved Stock”. This wine is also more expensive! The price of this wine is many times too costly for the average person to buy or experience (taste).

This analogy is looking from a natural occurrence but I make the illustration to make a spiritual point. According to our original text in Psalms 126, It is those who sow in tears, those who are carrying precious seed, people involved in the planting that also experience a harvest. There is a “Reserved Stock” of God’s Joy that is only tasted by the Christian invovled in the Great Commission. So many miss out on this level of joy, as it has a cost.

THE GREATEST JOY I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED AS A CHRISTIAN IS WHEN I WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN LEADING SOMEONE TO CHRIST!

Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

• We all have a part in the Great Commission
• God created us with a purpose
• It is only when we live that purpose out will we be truly satisfied

“GO”

A command, not an option!

I was the first of my siblings to come to Christ. I am the youngest in my family. I led my brother to the Lord. The same brother died in a work related accident only a couple of years later. I prayed with my oldest sister as she gave her life to Jesus and was washed from her sin. Her life was truly transformed from that day forward. My sister who is 4 years older than me is a full time missionary in Costa Rica. Since I have been a believer, I have led tens of thousands to the Lord. My prayer is I will win 1,000,000 to Christ before I die.

• You see I know, I cannot win anyone to Christ!
• I know God and I can!

2Co 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
