Its architectural design, which its facade is unlike any other churches. It is a triangular, and has a plain pediment which it seems to be dictating its overall shape. In fact, there are eight pilasters projecting to the walls that are found in the facade, that creating seven vertical sections.

The entrance is through a rectangular three-part door adorned with massive volutes above it, and a recessed niche of the patron formed by three increasingly elevated arches of fluted pilasters.

  • This church is in the Philippines, so why are you posting in the Sri Lanka community?
  • Is this church still operating? We are interested to see the atmosphere from the inside and the facilities available.

• This church is in the Philippines, so why are you posting in the Sri Lanka community?

Actually I'd focus on your rules which all I want to abide on this rules. For me, its not really a big deal if in the other communities which I'll put my post and not in my own country. I'd think there is no restrictions of communities in Steemit, as long as it is steem exclusive.

• Publish your posts on your personal blog or community of choice

• Is this church still operating? We are interested to see the atmosphere from the inside and the facilities available.

Yes it is operating, on that time when I'll visited the church, it is a coincidence that there was also a mass of the dead, and I do not want to disturb the mass and to the bereaved families and to show some respect.

Thank you for replying to my question. You have followed all the prescribed rules. But additional suggestions:

  • It would be better if in your next post you avoid the different country communities. This may make others think that this place is in that country.

Okay bro, noted. Thanks for your time.

Just a little bit advice bro, be specific of what community you want us to publish our post to your contest, inorder to avoid misunderstanding.

All communities are allowed, but preferably not country communities. Except the country of the location itself.

Okay, I think its all clear and thanks for clarifying bro.

Wow, such a beautiful and informative post.I really enjoyed learning about the San Juan Nepomuceno Parish Church. You explained everything so clearly, and the history behind it is very interesting. I didn’t know it's one of the oldest churches in Cebu.

The pictures you shared are just amazing each one captured the beauty and peaceful vibes of the place so well. I especially liked the lion guards and the bell tower. The church looks very well maintained and peaceful for prayers.

The San Juan Nepomuceno Parish Church is more than just an old building—it is a symbol of faith, history, and the unity of the San Remigio community. By keeping alive the spirit of St. John of Nepomuk, the church is expected to remain a center of inspiration and service for Catholics in Northern Cebu.

Well said bro, in addition, this church really symbolizes a spirit of christianity.
