A child, A Million Smiles 😁 School Food aid For Week 2 Phase 2 Accomplished

We went again on Wednesday to visit and distribute food aid to the pupils of Remis schools. The first visit was on Tuesday last week when I went to inform them about our food aid. Though it wasn't really the first visit. I had visited them sometimes ago in our phase 1 but the teacher I met forgot to inform the school Proprietor about my visit and didn't go back for reminders. I got to when this second visit on Tuesday that the proprietor wasn't informed.

One of the teachers present then recognised me and thankfully, the proprietor was around. After telling him about our visit, we fixed a day to meet which was on Wednesday, just yesterday. I informed my team about our movement as well as dropped location of the place.

This past Wednesday after my usual fitness activities, I left to the market for the purchases of food item which is noodles as they agreed on uncooked food. The noodles we usually buy was out of stock, so I had to make a change and bought another brand which is higher in price than the one we usually buy. I had to buy it because we can't afford to wait for the first one to be supplied.

We were supposed to go to the school by 11am but we were there by 12noon due to the delays in searching for the noodles. We were still able to meet the kids but we had to wait a little for them to purse their learning a d come out. Soon, they were all. Cued out. We helped to arrange them, I addressed them as usual, we played music and danced a little, took pictures before the actual food distribution.

The kids were over 100. Thankfully, we were able to reach them all and they were so happy and excited to have received this. One thing is common among these kids we have been visiting. They all are very happy to receive the food aids no matter how little. The joy in their faces are usually contagious. The exceptional thing about these ones was that, as soon as we were done with them, most of them carried their bags and other belongings, rushing home to go prepare noodles and eat. But it wasn't school over yet. They were sent back to the class. It was just out of excitement. They can't wait to prepare it.

Musics were played again and again and the kids danced very well. Then, they gave their vote of thanks in a loud voice. You will listen to it in the video below. Then the school headteacher gave his vote of thanks on behalf of the school before we left. In deed, the kids really need this aid. It's really a good thing to reach out to them and put smiles on their faces. They long for our revisit.
