TEACH YOUR CHILD A GOOD MORAL LESSONS IN LIFE.
I remember during my tender age, on Sundays early in the morning my mum would command me bath and dress up and get ready for Sunday School. By then I was very young, so I thought that my mum was worrying me. Looking at the distance from my house to the church, sometimes I felt reluctant to go, but mum will never leave me behind. When it comes to sacrificing her precious time to see to it that I am ready for church she will do that.

Sunday School Teachings:
Many churches do not pay attention to Sunday School children, they think that Christianity is meant for adult. On the other hand, most churches have turned into business, and they see that children cannot fetch money compared to adult. Others also have the view that their services are irrelevant, since they make a lot of noise which disturb adult church services, because of its closeness to the adults' building. Forgetting that they were once like these Sunday children, before they were graduated to adult class. Being a Sunday child opens opportunity to broadens ones knowledge. Their teachings are base on syllabus, as in Schools we have syllabus. This syllabus is loaded with lots of activities that help the children to grow morally. From teachings, singing, drama to role play which are in line with the Bible. Any child who passes through that moral life are well equipped with the knowledge of Scriptures and good manners that removes them from deviant behaviours in the communities. It would be very difficult for some child who has passed through the Sunday School system to learn some social vices as armed robbery, bribery, corruption, prostitution, drunkard and others that are shameful to mention. The Shift from Sunday School Teachings- Who are to blame?:
First of all parents are the category of people who should be blamed for not encouraging their children to attend Sunday School classes. In most cases, you will found out that a lot of parents during Sunday's services will attend church living their children at home. Instead for them to monitor their children that they will bath, dress up and hold their hands when coming. They are in hurry for their own welfare neglecting their children at home to do whatever they like. As they are left in the house they will by all means go out to play games with their peers and tend to copy bad behaviours. I am saying this in reference to my survey I recently did in my community-Nsuta. A lot of children are mostly found outside playing all sort of games during Sunday's services. I took my time and interviewed three of the children who were playing, according to them, their parents didn't call them when coming. It means that their parents think about their Christian welfare than their children, which should not be so. If the bottom is taken care of by all means the top will be good. If these children are well trained morally, by all means about seventy percent of them will be good Christians.
Proverbs 22:6(KJV)
"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
What kind of training as parents are we giving to our wards. They are our future leaders. When we die, they are going to replace us. When we leave them behind in our houses, they will tend to copy some deviant behaviours which will be societal nuisance. The church too is their second home where morality is thought. We should therefore remember that if morality is lost in the part of their lives, the church does not have good future leaders who will replace the leaders in the church when they are no more. In some Schools they have a day within the week where worship base on the Scriptures are given to the students in order for them them learn good morals and manners. All of us have some part to play in the development of our children good morality in the nation at large. We want each and everyone to embrace this message and make it a reality, our children are our future leaders.

This is a bible principle. He will not forget this when he grows up.
