Ryan Tedder, the lead vocalist for the popular band One Republic is a self-taught vocalist who could play piano at the age of three and started singing at the age of seven. Ryan is showing his remarkable presence in the world music industry being a singer, song-writer, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer. He has also written and produced songs for the artists, like Adele, Beyoncé, Camila Cabello, Charlie Puth, Demi Lovato, Ed Sheeran. Early life :
Ryan Benjamin Tedder was born on June 26, 1979, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His father Garry Tedder was a musician and mother Marlene Cunningham was a school-teacher. They influenced him to shower love and respect for music at his early age. As, being raised by an extended family of missionaries and pastors in a Christian church, he used to perform during his teen life in the church. He used to practice singing at least two hours a day until he was 18.

Education:
He went to schools in Jenks, Oklahoma, a Tulsa suburb. Later, he moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado for further study. He joined soccer team at the Colorado Springs where he met and became friends with future OneRepublic bandmate Zach Filkins. He attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa and started enhancing his musical experience. Ryan completed his college education and graduated in Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations and advertising.

Work Life :
Tedder was a waiter, and also as a shop assistant at Pottery Barn. Later, he started to work as an intern at DreamWorks SKG in Nashville, Tennessee. Ryan won the MTV's songwriting competition where he performed his own written songs and presented his talent in front of million viewers. This caught the attention of the producer Timbaland and gave him his first ever break into the industry. Ryan Tedder and his high school friend Zach Filkins formed "One Republic" and Timbaland launched their first album in November 2007.
