2.a The post may have already said everything that spontaneously comes to my mind on the subject.
2.b I may see that other comments already contain what I would have wanted to say.I don't comment if my thoughts still seem half-baked to me.

Interesting stance and respectable way of thinking. It is very true that no one comments if there is no interest in the publication; in fact, there is absolutely nothing that compels someone to comment on a publication, only their own desire to do so.

Commenting is not always about having something to say based on the topic (if there's one) of the content. You can also comment to reach out, give a tip, connect or ask for advice or reply on what a commenter said.
Let's not forget this is social media and you can read what you like. There's plenty for everyone and we all have brains, an opinion, are questioning or like a good laugh so why not comment on that?
The answer is: it takes time and the only reason to be here is fill the wallet as quickly as possible without investing anything. The result we see today. Steem =👎🏼
I guess the tumour grows too fast since the fact it all connects is not what the farmers think about. If it continues like this they can soon farm elsewhere (without any doubt those lifted today by whales/witnesses will survive longer).
