Promenade of the Orinoco Walkway...
Great idea for this contest, Let's Talk About... this week's topic is PASEO. Here's mine, I hope you like it.
I really enjoy family outings. We do them whenever we can, to take our minds off things, get out of the house for a while, and see and experience things that are different from the usual.
Our penultimate family outing was to Paseo Orinoco. This time, we also took the newest member of the family, our pet HOWZER, who enjoyed it as much as we did.
We went because there was the novelty of the flooding of the Orinoco River, which began many months earlier and almost exceeded the last time it rose in 2018.
There were many people, and I was amazed to see the river like this, because when it is low, it looks like a beach. On the river, there were many boats with fishermen, others selling fish.
The day was cool, with a very gentle sun, more like rainy weather. Howzer was very happy on his first family outing. He was also a big attraction for the people who saw him.
We walked along the boardwalk, where we could already see the river waters, and stopped at the park to rest a bit and let Howzer play in the dirt, because we don't have any at home.
After two hours of enjoying such a beautiful gift from nature, we went to eat some ice cream and then returned home.
It was a good idea to go on that trip. We had been meaning to do it for a while, but we were glad we went with the three of us and our pet, because later the Paseo Orinoco was closed due to flooding, and several streets were already flooded.

Upvoted! Thank you for supporting witness @jswit.
What a magnificent ride, I loved accompanying you along with your beautiful friend Howzer.
It is really very impressive how the Orinoco has grown this year.
Your photos are beautiful.
Thank you, my friend, for visiting. I've lived here since I was born, and this is the first time I've seen the river this high. I'd say those people in the boats must be very good swimmers because it's deep.
Everyone in their region learns to swim like the salmon fish, backwards.
I have seen the videos where they show how the level of the river has risen, reaching the streets, like a swimming pool. How awful!
Even though the river is receding, some streets are still flooded, but the water authorities say they are not carrying out maintenance because they claim that this is the first time that the area known as La Alameda in Ciudad Bolívar has been flooded like this.
Hola Vicente.
How wonderful it is to be able to go out as a family, for a walk, and to bring the pets along is excellent. Howzer is really beautiful. How old are you?
Qué maravilla poder salir en familia, a caminar, e incorporar a las mascotas es excelente. Realmente, Howzer es muy bello. ¿Cuánto tiempo tiene?
Four months
Wow! That's beautiful. Those dogs grow quite a bit. I hope the Ciudad Bolívar climate doesn't punish him too much.
¡Guao! Es hermoso. Esos perros crecen bastante. Espero que el clima de Ciudad Bolívar no lo castigue mucho.
