Sing-a-long - with Disney
When I think of singing along I think of Walt Disney. I have many Disney cartoons (yes, the word cartoon was used before animation was said) and I even have the very first one where the music is still classic. Disney has re-recorded a large number of films and also changed the text.
Sing a long is often not my thing although in my family we know the text or a number of statements from a large number of films by heart and ... we use them in certain situations. I thought I would look on YouTube to see what is available (to refresh my memory) well the first hits mean nothing to me at all. I think I kind of dropped out after the Lion King although I think "Keizer Kuszo" has hilarious parts (I love that humor) but I find the way it is "drawn" downright ugly. An overview of films that we can pretty much dream of. The interesting thing is that it does matter in which language you watch them. Unfortunately I often find the English version less interesting than in other languages.

Those songs bring back memories. I remember the time I watched pocahonta and the little mermaid mermaid , I did not sleep early and forgot to do my homework. I was in trouble the next day( i can't remember how many strokes of the cane landed on my butt but I remember running towards the school gate when one landed on my butt😂)

Pocahontas is great too. Especially, the tree, gtandmother willow 😁 Do children still sing a long? Was is as harmful as the phones? At least we could focus on a film and forget the world.

Nope, most children in my area prefer afro beats. Some still enjoy the recent ones, my little sis will almost kill my ears if there is a frozen 3. She rarely watch movies but, she never likes to miss the intresting ones especially now that they Disney cartoons are becoming acted movies. She almost killed cos I didn't want to download snow white after telling her it's on moviebox😂.
Yeah, it's always nice to have fun watching movies.
I like the cartoons and the animations most. Especially, the very first ones, although I like Yzma very much LOL
I love creatures like these LOL How can one not. She's so happy with herself, which remind me I need a Gronk myself.
Yzma is fantastic, her sarcasm is gold! I also have a soft spot for Maleficent. I just checked The Emperor's New Groove – it was made in 2000, which is 8 years older than me! It's an interesting one and really funny too😂.
