The Struggle of an Artist

concrete with acrylic paint + varnish
The truth is that it's not easy to be an artists and divide time between art, loved ones and social media.
Next to Steemit I stay in daily touch with several people. We share our art, ideas, thoughts, the sleepless nights and indeed our struggles. Struggles if it comes to the needed materials, staying alive while carrying the responsibilities for others, the neverending longing to create remains while dragging ourselves through the day with a head filled with ideas, worries, painful experiences, at times depressions and all those thoughts about things we love to try out if only...
It's a luxury to spend a day focused on art, alone, without being disturbed. Even one or two hours seems to be hard. It's even harder if you have to clean up and put away everything after a set time, because duty calls, others complain, and one or two hours of sleep is what you can get at most if you go for a nap without delay.
Frequently it feels as if the price paid is too high, esoecialkyif the reward is low, ZERO.
It's not just a thought, but reality no matter how sad it is. The fact is an artist will continue to create: words, thoughts, ideas change into fluid art, stories, poems, sculptures, photographs, music, lyrics, songs, films, fashion and digital art if artists have the time to try, find their way in expressing emotions, ideas, send vibes to the world.
Those you avoid, call the chaotic ones, the weirdos. All those you laugh at, say about they will never make a decent income, a chance to be someone, they are the future, the bringers of inspiration, positive vibes, the inventors and the ones colouring lives.
Imagine life, your life without one single colour, one sign of art, without music, film, inventions. No phone, no camera, no fashion. What would life look like without all those artists struggling, in thiughts, stumbling through life?

The lamentations of an artist. They will keep creating no matter what. No matter if there's no return and no matter if others don't understand their need to create. Creating art is life to them.
It is indeed an urge, a need to stay alive.
Did you try to pour some paint yet?
No, I haven't started anything yet. I'm focused on sorting out my daily routine right now—I need to maximize self-care and reduce my cortisol levels. I'm trying to hit a new sleep schedule, aiming to be asleep by 11 and awake by 6:30. The downside is that I keep forgetting things I need to do!
Now my avocado seed sprouting project has taken over the entire bathroom sink!
It's good to live the life people did without electricity. Early to bed and out if the sun rises.
I am curious about your sprouting project. ♥️🍀

Time spending with art and cats are never wasted ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
Very true 😁
How are you?
I'm meowverlous! =^•⩊•^=
And you?
Art surrounds us, life is full of art and talented people, in fact I think that we all carry something of artist within us, let's analyze: Women who sit and talk with others while they work on their embroidery, those who are dedicated to sewing, dresses that even a renowned designer could envy and more, the point is that a lot of talent remains there without being visible but valued by those who observe it and even benefit from it.
I agree an artists hides in everyone the only problem is many never had the chance to figure out their talent.

Or they don't have enough confidence, they don't try and they miss the opportunity to awaken this talent that many have.
Looks like a piece of clue for a horror movie...
A horror film is a great idea, something for Halloween or during a storm if home alone. 🤔
It's great to hear from you!
