Support? No way!

Why are you here?
Why did you join Steemit.
No need to answer since I know the answer: to fill your pockets, to get rich over night and an extra plus is if you can reign.
In the Netherlands we have a certain idea about those social media reigners (I am sure you can figure out yourself what they look like or where they stand in real life on the ladder).
The chance you get rich over night is nihil.
Some do and in most cases it's the result of corruption.
Support
There are two ways to get rich:
- by hard work
- with help
In both cases luck is needed.
On Steemit, like in the offline world, since years the fairy tale is spread that with hard work only you receive high upvotes and become rich (no need to have a fat wallet to be an influencer by the way).
The truth is there's no need to work hard, to guarantee quality content, to support others.
Idiots stick to these nible set rules, the rest doesn't with the results of better rewards for way less work.
Loyalty is not rewarded. Feel free to powerdown, leave and come back after months. If you are one of them you receive the fat upvotes even if you do not write 4x per week but only once per 1-3 months, do not upvote others, do not comment.
Fair?
There's no fair policy and no right to get on social media. The same counts for Steemit.
Most users are not able to show PoB, after years they never improved their writing skills nor layout and still do not comment, reply and upvot others which is part of the PoB idea.
You can complain, but have no right to.
After many years of writing, many posts & comments (way and way more than most Steemians) the result is that I am rewarded with an amount Steem others receive in a month or even week.
Unlike most I don't believe those with high rewards are the creators of quality content, which is easy to check if a visit is paid to the personal account.
If high ranked don't join clubs, receive high upvotes for doing nothing, are mainly absent, it's clear there's dirty play. It's true this behaviour is rewarded. Farmingis rewarded by the fat wallers just not ifvit's me or you little one trying to copy unless...
Support? Why not
Why should I? There is no way I can give higher upvotes to Steemians if my VP isn't high and gers higher. I cannot support Steemians more than I do. If I do not receive upvotes, I cannot give a high upvote, there's no need to ask for a raise if there is nothing to get. Unlike most Steemians I never took Steem for my expenses, never powered down even if not active and my Steem was used to reward others, grow communities. A part of them became rich over night. Interesting enough is gratitude, a memory not part of them. Not once they gave me a vote which says a lot about the attitude and the we are in this boat together, if the boat sinks, there is nothing to gain.
I received requests, also for events.
My answer is NO.
If you want something work for it, save, find a way. It is not my responsibility and not my fun.
I find it shameful how a rich group without shame is supported while there is no thank you in any form back. Wallets are emptied, while living in luxury, taking vacations and traveling the world the middle finger is given to the idiots willing to support time after time.
Why you'd ask me?
If it comes to it you never supported me, not even the smallest upvote I am worth in your eyes. Already, not sharing the same nationality is enough to make that difference.
I may not represent any nationality, but I don't like to be part of the filling the wallets of the same group hype out of fear not to receive an upvote.
I believe I arrived at the point that I find my own growth and investment more important, should find more important, than the endless support of those who don't give a damn about how to keep the system (Steemit) running.
I am not sorry to say that:
- a raise isn't in it,
- support will not be given to those not being supportive,
- events which bring nothing (except fights, threats and a gang meeting to make deals and new rules how to fool Steemit and the good hearted), aren't my fun and already receive high support should not receive support by me.
September is a good month. From now on I will reduce my support.

How do you think such a huge number of mis bullets with lack of evidence of brains (skills, disinterest in reading and writing) and high number of scanner and poorer got on Steemit? That is thanks to this Stee migrate where people were acquired with false promises of write a few words and you get a fat reward just like me.
Considering those with drivers and skills are in the minus and investors are needed to get the value of Steem up, it is pointless to let corrupt & corrupt recruit more new workers. These are the last workers this platform needs provided you want to promote it as the perfect place to farm and I can not help thinking this is already the case.
As we can see, this is done openly and without shame. Finally, no research is done on who is already high profile. The so-called work being done is pretence. It is outsourced (including to AI). There is no question of Know Your Customer, the writer.
A meeting with like-minded people is nice but it should be paid for by the participants. They want this, they are the ones who should save for it.
I only see high income at no effort if nil effort. It is allowed that is clear otherwise it would not happen.
And if there is no report from @the-gorilla it is good people.

I think everything is banal if you can't publish something that at least makes you feel good and leaves you with a clear conscience. I think the greatest achievement of a community like this is having the opportunity to have people who share our tastes and projects, and to achieve relationships of true friendship and respect. Money should come as a consequence of personal growth. Achievement for so much effort. But it should come without the constraints of selling your soul.
But in the Lord's vineyard... and since we have everything, we have little white-gloved thieves. Refined, trained. They care little for art. The content that generally gets voted on is laughable. Do they think we don't know what a good text is?
The world seems to remain this way. I think your response echoes the fact that you can be free. I admire that you continue to invest in art and those who create it.

I invested more STEEM token here more than I cashed out but its ok since I started from zero and now I feel like a hero because I had added scarcity factor to the steem economy.
Steem community in general needs curators because there are so much members in ratio of curators. It creates frustration on content creators. Investors are frustrated because ROI is slow and these things I said is what makes the community feel like a pet dog that was intentionally dropped into someplace to get lost and in turn not knowing what to do next.
We are dependent on the tides of crypto valuation and I guess that only the fat ones will survive if rain will not come in the next few months.
Like in the real world, the online world feels the same, it is like a jungle everywhere and sometimes we need to survive the forest fire if not from our fellow beings.😆@wakucat @wakeupkitty 🌹🌹🌹🧡🧡🧡

Now you mention it: most came with an empty pocket and many did make an income, small or big and if it comes to it they all won.
But a lot changed from the start. I miss thr spirit, those willing to invest (time, energy, vommrnting, upvoting, connecting, not only buying Steem).
You are right only a few will survive and it's nit different from the real world. All colours are present but unlike years ago the awareness lacks we are in the same boat.

Exactly... the chance of getting rich overnight is almost zero.
I joined this panel to accumulate Steem and SBD. I like to keep a low profile, both on the panel and in my life. I want the support of a whale, and I will NEVER deny that. I'm not interested in recognition; I prefer to share and laugh with a few friends I have on the platform. I use Steem to buy Satoshi, obviously adding part of my salary. With this, I try to make a profit so I can carry out my project of having a passive income. I like real estate, and that's what I'm betting on.
