The after Negan era. Ω Omega introduces Alpha - The new villain of The walking dead
The week just started and as expected, due to the success of previous review post of The Walking Dead. I've decided to do the same with the episode number 11 of the season 9th. Let's talk about "Omega" the new episode of the post-apocalyptic series of the zombie genre. It is my duty to give you the SPOILER ALERT.
What many fans were waiting for finally happened, Omega revealed to us the new villain of the survivors of the TWD universe. The leader of the whisperers made her first appearance in the series and we finally appreciated how she looks.

The first minutes of the chapter pass with a group of people who are in a shelter, and outside everything seems to be going to hell ... It is in that room where Lydia is, the girl who was captured in the previous chapter and is imprisoned in Hilltop. What we saw were the memories of this character, Omega is focused entirely on the origins of Alpha, which started the whisperers. The one responsible for the death of Jesus.
What we will see over 45 minutes is how little by little the apocalypse was involved in the creation of the monster that is Alpha today. Lydia, who is in Hilltop, narrated with feeling his past, the one of which each character has. That is, its origins. She was small and scared, in that her past is translated, nevertheless the reality can be worse than she said.
The group that Michonne and Daryl left in Hilltop begin to explore the surroundings in search of their friend Luke, who was captured by the whisperers at the end of the previous chapter.
I will never understand why the horror plots are focused on generating a conflict, they must always use that mechanism to create a vitally important learning in a character. Tara, the current leader of Hilltop, decides to postpone the search for Luke and Alden for being at a disadvantage. So come back to avoid unnecessary deaths. But the group of newly added, prefers to pass over that order and undertake its own search, AT NIGHT. There is no worse danger than a nocturnal search in a zombie apocalypse. But sentimentality took over them. The good news is that there were no deaths to regret. Tara was good enough leader to cope with the situation, proving once again that she is the ideal. There is no doubt that this event was to give more recognition to the character of Tara, since his roll within the series is to replace Maggie.
The situation with Lydia in jail begins to pay off. At the end of it was Daryl who planned to get information from the whisperers and he get it. Through manipulation, but he get it. Not without first showing that his most human side is still there, he is still a man with feelings. That as everyone in the series have an origin of when all the chaos began.
we see the flashbacks of Alpha's past locked in the shelter. We appreciate how reality begins to break her. They say that in these situations two things happen: you are weak or strong. Alpha preferred to be the strong one. But to achieve this he committed acts that Lydia witnessed and left her with scars that are difficult to cure. If in the previous episode we saw the decline of Negan, today it is the turn to Lydia's vulnerability, which allows us to get an idea of how strong and ruthless is Alpha, his mother. However Henry is the one to go to heal those wounds from the past of the whisperer, and in this episode we could see what I consider the beginning of the new TWD romance.
To finish the episode the stragglers of the group of newcomers consisting of Magna and Yumiko approach Tara who gives them a very encouraging message and reveals that he had sent to rescue Connie and Kelly.
But behind Connie, a large group of Whispers advances. In front of them, Alpha, without a mask, appears and says that he only wants his daughter. With this presentation, the confrontation between Hilltop and the Whispers is imminent.
