As opposed to a Billion dead, but a lot of these "Mother Earthers" don't care HOW we get a population reduction, they just see mankind as a disease to the planet. INDEED Earth was created for MAN, not the other way around! Even a realistic View of an "Earth Mother" would have us as her children, not as a scourge upon the Earth.
