A-/ Obtain your packs and a team
On the main page on the official GLS portal you can scroll down and locate pack purchase option.
The three options will appear and you will choose the best for the need of your adventure. The payment is in Hive.
I took the first option and was surprise on the cost of this transaction even thought the amount to pay is converted in Hive. I completed the transaction with hive keychain. It is the most recommended tools in the gaming environment.

B-/ Start managing your team
After validation I went straight to the management part of the game to find the following page confirming the acquisition of one Pack and option to manage my team.
I did not really understand if the absence of the License was the cause the screen on this page was blank the previous time I visited the link. If you have an idea of the role of the License please let me know in the comment section.
It is time to begin the building of my team.
You click on the the section Team management and start the process where you will collect talent from the players market to present a solid team.
This part is essential purchase with GLUSD token available on the pool exchange.
You will need a large volume depending of the interest you have to collect many cards or just the minimum.
I will recommend 50 Hive liquid swap to GLUS on the pool bee exchange to cover the fee of your shopping.
I got from the market exactly the number of cards I need to manage my first team in the game.
There were no available players sitting on the bench as replacement to the field player.
The coach is a strategies builder, the goalkeeper a strong player, the defense and mid defense line were technical strikers and players in front in attack execute their mission in accord with the team.
I finale got my team in the game ready to win many soccer games.
The real question is the power of my team against the rest of the party in competition.
The best way to check the value of my selection is to into the arena and play my strategies.
There is a button on the screen where it is mentioned auto play if you disable this button you will be able to manually selection the period you start a competition.
I put this button to auto play so it will be able to automatically play game for me. I returned to the main page to check the result of my team half an hour after I set auto play. I was not interesting to maintain the auto play on, because the moral of my team and fatigue was destroying the collective work on the soccer field.
C -/ Auto or Manual Play
I preferred to enter the soccer field manually when I see the statistic of my team in the green.
I went into this battle ready and it was a good game for my selection. It took longer than the automatic game to set up all the process but the victory was mine.
An easy way to return to the automatic setting fro the game is to buy enough cards to propose at least three teams ready to enter the game whenever the coach need their presence in the game.
D -/ Shopping & Cards improvement
Hive engine offer a trade option to get your GLS pack at a very low price after you have activated the game with a license.
I do not know if the individual cards are more expensive than the pack but i will explore both way to make an objective analyze.
It will be soon an article dedicated to the team improvement as the competition get serious.
I invite all players to boost their selection and offer some tips in terms of cards statistic lecture or combination of identical cards to move from level one to higher level.
I am sure it will provide benefit to the players in the field.

E -/ Splinterlands Finale
It was the finale in splinterlands. I was not aware of the rewards claiming until later the evening. I went shopping and got my Epic packs open for you
Also, before the reset to build during this new season, here is some achievements
It is a nice move on both league that entered the respective Gold and Diamond League. The win rate ratio has improve on both league so I am confident entering in this new season.
The Glint tokens and SPS are both essential to boost my collection of cards. I have a challenge in SPS stake section to reach 100k SPS. It is on the good track and all rewards of SPS is welcome.
You will see the number of SPS as a rewards increase if you win more battles and especially perform well in tournament.
