RE: Blessed By His Grace Culture Post
haha! Welcome to Africa, mate. I work with a bunch of Malawians and Zimbos and they had to be asked to only speak religion at lunch time. Lol, they got so out of hand with their discussions that I could hear them shouting downstairs.
Faith is a beautiful thing, but indoctrination is sad. As a Christian, I am saddened by the idea of other people's version of Christianity - especially here in Africa, I often think it is not a religion but a cult.
I can understand it though, when you have nothing, faith is something to hold onto and to keep you standing.
Thank you for the welcome ... are you in Africa right now as well? We encountered many different religions and believes during our travels but here in Ghana things are a bit on a different level.
Yes, I am from South Africa. Here in Cape Town there are some parts of the city that are completely inhabited by Congolese, Malawians and Zimbabweans, and it is so amazing to go into these parts of town. It feels like Little Africa in the big city 💓
I really love it, the music, the smells and the people. If you ever are here I will show you around!
