Achievement - 1 Introduction to STEEMIT, I am a new comer

Hello STEEMIT Family!

My name is Ekanem Ekanem. Am indigene of Atibe/Afaha Eket in Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. I am a Computer Engineer, HSE Advisor, crypto enthusiast and also a preacher of the gospel of Christ. I am happily married with 4 children. Am excited to make my first post today believing that this introductory post will describe my person as well as connect me to the people who may find my personality interesting.

I have also read a lot about STEEMIT and I fully understand that being here requires a lot of hard work, dedication and steadfastness. I pray it will be a rewarding adventure while spending some quality time here.

I graduated as a Computer Engineer from the Department of Electrical/Electronics and Computer Engineering, University of Uyo in 2011. I have also acquired some professional certifications to boost my career. These Certifications include:

• Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET with CA-EBS)

• Certificate in General HSE/ HSE Level III from the Institution of Safety Proffessional of Nigeria (ISPON)

• Certificate in Global Operations Work Management System from Exxon Mobil

• Diploma in Networking – Microsoft Technologies etc just to mention but a few.

My wife came back home one evening fiddling with her phone. I became curious to know what she was doing with her phone and then she explained to me that she was trying to put up an introductory article on STEEMIT. she also added that she will be rewarded for the contents she shares . It didn't sound interesting to me and she couldn't explain it better. I told her STEEMIT is a Cryptocurrency and that I traded it sometime ago. I shared a few screenshots of my trades with her but she kept saying it was different from what she was doing. She further added that she writes to get rewards in STEEMIT. It didn't still make any sense until she told me after 4 weeks that she has made about $50 from STEEMIT. Ah! You made $50?, I shouted. I immediately got interested and started shuffling the Internet for information about STEEMIT. To cut the long story short, I signed up at once.

I will be sharing my life experiences here which will mostly revolve around my career as an Engineer, HSE Profession, Crypto and the gospel of Christ.

In conclusion, I would like to express my profound gratitude to my wife for bringing me onboard while appreciating STEEMIT for this opportunity.
