RE: #needleworkmonday :: A not-so-successful zipper fix
Until I realized, one side was longer than the other! 😱 😲 😳
Years ago, my wife suggested that whenever I am lost driving for missing a turn or just totally didn't know where I was going - she said: "Stay calm, do not say that you are lost - say you are taking the scenic route instead."
I have taken her advice ever since and have been calm and not complaining when I was lost.
So, my suggestion is to not verbalize anything negative.
I have taken many of the negative words from my speech whether it is directed to myself or to others - it's the 4: 8 Principle(Philippians 4:8).
So, just say this is a new style - it'll catch on.
People still sell jeans that are deliberately torn as if it was worn. So, my suggestion is acceptable?
Thank you @freedomshift. Your wife is wise 🙂 It does change the perspective of things when we see things positively, doesn’t it? I will keep that in mind. I get lost on the road too sometimes but I usually don’t complain verbally. Just in writing or internally in my head which is just as bad. Haha. Make sense, uneven zipper could be intrend 😎 just like torn jeans though I don’t get torn jeans haha.
