May I ask you to check the battery settings and please sure that the app is not put to sleep for saving battery?

    Yes, I suspect it is my device (huawei y6ii), 10 minutes is the longest it will stay awake. I'm going to fit bit soon! :)

    Maybe before fitbitting you can try the below?
