Happy fiery 🔥 Tuesday and a very warm welcome to my world of trees 🌲🌳. They are all now greening up as summer approaches😹.
As always thank you so much for stopping by yet again. It's been another ordinary day stepping it out and as it comes to an end am raring to go with my stepping and the trending stories of the day.
Let's get into all that and more, here we go again 💨.
So I kicked off the day with a little bit of stretching then I was out for probably twenty or so minutes around the neighbourhood. Quite sunny🌞 , it felt summery.
Next I got on with the chores then watched some YouTube and kept up with the trending stories.
Its been a sunny 🌞 and cloudy day and that extended until this evening when I took my first and final walk. As usual slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
So now let's get into the trending news of the day.
Starting off in Gaza,the mass murder with Israeli airstrikes targeting Hamas kept going today 80 Palestinians killed😿. Following the joint statement issued yesterday by UK, France and Canada, today the UK has suspended trade talks with Israel🙀.
Saying Israel's actions in Gaza were cruel and indefensible.
Israel is weaponizing food then dropping bombs on hungry victims who have nothing to do with Hamas😿. Killing dozens daily and not seeing anything wrong with it. They definitely have to find a way of punishing Hamas without killing innocent people.
There are 9,000 trucks with aid stuck at the border, UN says Gaza needs 500 trucks to get in daily to avert hunger and starvation. Israel let in a few since yesterday which is just a drop in the ocean for the close to 2 million people in Gaza.
UN says thousands of children face imminent death if this continues🙀.
The EU is also looking into its free trade agreement with Israel.
Speaking of the EU, they have imposed a raft of sanction on Russia due to its ongoing aggression in Ukraine. The UK has followed suit.
We await to see what the US does as Trump awaits those talks between Ukraine and Russia😹.
Also trending, the Eu has agreed to lift sanctions against Syria as the new administration there begins rebuilding the country. The US too has lifted sanctions as announced by Trump on his trip to Saudi Arabia.
Speaking of Trump, he was in Washington meeting with republican sceptics as he pushes forth his tax cut bill.
Down there, Mexico trending as two aides of the mayor of the city of Mexico were shot dead by a gun man on a motorcycle.
Finally, Sudan's army has declared Khartoum city free of the paramilitary RSF. This is also another war where parties need to sit and dialogue or else no peace will prevail. They've been at it for three years with lots of death and destruction. It's just a mess🙀.
