My Actifit Report Card: May 7 2025.........Wednesday Walk ๐ฃ๐จ๐๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐ด๐คโโ ๐ผ๐ถ๐โจ๐
Hello everyone ๐ป,
Happy hump ๐ช day, and a very warm welcome to my report. We are bang in the middle of the week, this first Wednesday of May.
I have had a great day and am about to share it. Definitely thank you for stopping by and let's slide in ๐จ.
So I started the day with the usual morning walk around the neighborhood. It was a nice sunny ๐ morning as I made my way.
I didn't last long outside and after about 25 to 30 minutes, I was back indoors for the usual house chores including cooking. Later I was on you tube, twitter and checked out the days trending stories.
The day was both cloudy and sunny even as the evening set in. As always I had my evening walk around the park. Finally made it back home safe and sound calling it a day.
Now lets turn our eyes to what has been trending around the globe.
In Gaza, the mass murder continued with 92 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes targeting Hamas๐ฟ. One of the airstrikes hit a busy street and restaurant killing 39 people. A real horror scene with body parts and blood strewn everywhere๐.
In the other war, Russian airstrikes hit Kyiv and other cities in Ukraine. 3 people reportedly killed with many other injured in the attacks๐ฟ. This ahead of the 3 day ceasefire announced by Russia as it marks 80 years since the end of world war two.
Chinese president is in Russia to join in on the celebrations starting tomorrow.
Still in Europe, Rome trending as 133 cardinals are sequestered in the Sistine chapel as they start the election of a new pope. A tradition steeped in two thousand year history. Their first vote yielded black smoke at the top of the chimney, meaning no new pope yet.
As usual they will keep voting and when they agree we will see white smoke and a new pope will emerge from the balcony.
Syrian president, Ahmed Sharaa has met French president in Paris on his first trip to Europe.
Finally, another war brewing as Pakistan vows to respond to yesterday's India attacks that killed 31 people๐. Tension remains high even as India army say it has not targeted Pakistani military sites in that operation.
Tensions have been high since gunmen killed 26 people in Indian administered Kashmir last month. India says they have evidence of link back to Pakistan hence yesterday's attacks targeting terrorists affiliated groups. Many countries including EU have asked both countries to show restraint.
So that's it, see you again tomorrow on an amazing throwback Thursday ๐. Until then stay safe, take care and adios โค๏ธ. Hakuna Matata๐ป๐ฏ
