My Actifit Report Card: October 22 2025.......Wednesday Walk ๐ฃ๐จ๐๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐ด๐คโโ ๐ผ๐ถ๐โจ๐
Hello everyone ๐ป,
Happy hump ๐ช day and a very warm welcome to my report. We are bang in the middle of the week and am back from quite a busy Monday and Tuesday. Hope everyone is doing great.
As always thank you for stopping by and let's go ahead and look at how my day went including the stories that caught my eye ๐.Here we go again ๐จ.
So I did my morning walk around the neighbourhood and park then got to handling the usual house chores.
Later in the day, I kept up with all the trending stories and watched some YouTube and checked twitter too.
I did finish off my day with the slow paced sunset ๐ walk around the neighborhood. It looked quite cloudy but didn't rain. Tomorrow rain is guaranteed, more on that later
So now let's get into the trending stories that caught my eye ๐.
The situation in Gaza remains the same, good thing the ceasefire is still holding. However, the humanitarian situation is still horrible. Limited water and food supplies still plaguing the population. Lots of rubble need to be cleared.
UN court in the Hague has ruled that occupying power -Israel-has an obligation to make sure Palestine including Gaza is not deprived of basic human needs.
Today funerals and burials held for 45 bodies returned by Israel most bearing signs of torture, some still handcuffed. So far Israel has returned 165 bodies, worst part is that families can't identify their loved ones as there's no DNA testing.
Some bodies identified by the clothing or shoes they wore but many buried without being known.
Across the border in Israel, US vice president JD Vance met with Israeli PM and other leaders. He is there to make sure the ceasefire holds.
In the other war, Putin has continued airstrikes against Ukraine hitting various infrastructure including homes. 6 people reportedly killed.
Officials say that meeting between Trump and Putin scheduled for Budapest has been shelved for the time being. Meaning more strikes on Ukraine.
Across the pond, the US has hit a boat in the Pacific ocean suspected of carrying drugs destined for the US. This is the 8th such boat hit by Trump administration in an attempt to deter drug smugglers.
Further down, Peru trending as the interim president declared state of emergency across the country. This after weeks of protests and spiraling crime rates in most areas that led to removal of president Dina Boluarte.
On the other side of the world, Japan has appointed its first woman Prime Minister. Congratulations to her๐.
Finally in crazy weather, storm Benjamin is to batter the UK with heavy rain and strong winds. Wet and blustery conditions are expected tomorrow. I must walk whatever happens๐น.
